Clinton looking for a clean getaway on Benghazi
Rice, a friend and confidante of President Obama, gave the answer on Thursday night in an interview with NBC’s Brian Williams. It was Clinton herself that set in motion what would become the shambles of Rice’s once-inevitable march into the top cabinet slot for the second Obama term.
It was a round of Sunday show interviews in the wake of the Sept. 11 raid by Islamist militiamen in Libya that ultimately doomed Rice’s chance to have the top job. Rice, no doubt looking for the chance to burnish her profile on big issues, sallied forth the following Sunday to lay out the administration talking points that the deadly attack was a spontaneous result of riots over a YouTube video offensive to Muslims. …
But whatever led Rice to say what she said, we know that Clinton herself wisely avoided the trap of talking about what she likely knew would end up being a serious foreign policy scandal. Madame Secretary opted to let the woman who was itching to replace her go ahead and take the limelight.

I have a feeling bill had a chat with hill about going before congress/under oath/lying and what comes of that? hill is like bho, someone anyone must get the bus, not them? But thats just my take.

As Carville explained it, defending the Clintons is like being in the Mafia. Once you’re in it you’re in for life.
They are very smart people politically. And ruthless.
But that goes with the game.

Hah, God, her being a Clinton, conveniently gave her the stomach flu, she fainted…what a wonderful world it is.
In reality she hates Rice, deservedly. Rice, along with Richardson, were the frist two to go against her, for Obama. May the two Benedict Arnolds be rewarded, always.
In reality also Hillary is as dumb as Obama, as Benghazi revealed, at 3:00a.m.
Hillary and Obama have blood on their hands on Lybia, Egypt and especially Benghazi, and now in Syria.

Isn’t it stunning that depending on who you are something as prosaic as a ‘doctor’s excuse’ can excuse you from explaining your role in the death of four Americans.
By the time Hill is sufficiently recovered she will no longer be SoS. Nothing will be done. She has blood on her hands, yet she, and others, will never be held accountable.
Our government is sick and corrupt. Lesser beings like us would be in jail. Hill is taking a nice, long Christmas vacation.

No, not necessarily. I just have a gut feeling that, whether she decides not to tun or she gets another stiff primary challenge (in which her age will made a huge issue), she will never win the office she covets most.
