Lethally-armed robots are only as moral as the person who commands them. Now then, tell me who is commanding said robots for the next several years and how moral is he?

This is particularly so if prohibitions include even the development of components or technologies that might incrementally lead to much greater humanitarian protection in war.

Or genocidal campaigns composed of machines that never get tired, never question a directive, can’t be bargained with, can’t be reasoned with, that doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear, and absolutely will not stop… ever, until you are dead.

They would be a great addition to assad’s armory in Syria, and I am sure he would welcome them.

Frankly I don’t give a flit what they need to do to get rid of the ‘bad guys’! What ever it takes! And I might add, I hope Israel is getten these ‘killer robots’!
