State Dept: Clinton may not testify on Benghazi
Congress expects Clinton to testify Dec. 20 about the results of the Accountability Review Board, State’s internal review on the events leading up to and during the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi that resulted in the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. But the State Department said today that the work of the ARB, led by Tom Pickering and Adm. Mike Mullen, isn’t complete yet and so Clinton might not show up to testify next week at all. …
But State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said today that the ARB is not complete, might not be complete by Dec. 20, and Clinton has not agreed to testify on Dec. 20.
“The Hill has talked about a planning date on the calendar. That presumes that the ARB is finished,” Nuland said. “That’s dependent on all of the work getting done between now and then… The ARB is continuing to do its work, to my knowledge it has not yet completed its work.”

I’m sure they’ll have the review finished sometime around December 2016.

They are going to get away with it.

Why should she? They’ve gotten rid of the Generals who know anything, hidden the survivors and killed off everyone else who was there.

I wonder if she’ll be asked when she plans to bring the terrorists to justice. It seems to me that large al qaeda armies splinter off into smaller groups and kill more Americans so I don’t know that they have the luxury of waiting for the Muslim Brotherhood to take care of the matter for them. Unless they feel pretty confiddent that this al qaeda army isn’t a threat to anyone else in the future, and that might require an explanation to convince most non Democrat Americans.

Well, that all depends on how your definition of the word “transparent” transpires …
No doubt she’ll be as transparent to Congress and the American people as she was in 1993 with her secret Health Care Task Force, with the same consequences (that’d be “none at all”).
After all, what downside to lying exists for her or any Dem in D.C. for that matter? That’d be “none at all” with this GOP Congressional Leadership that demonstrates its duty and “resolve” by allowing Obama to — seemingly daily — govern in some newly creative unconstitutional way and by fiat/whim (but I repeat myself).

They already have. It’s out of the public mind. The new “hot” concerns right-to-work laws, “fiscal cliffs” and the Republican war on the middle class.
Four Americans, including an ambassador were murdered by islamic terrorists, the most senior government officials lied about it. Nobody outside those of us here, and other places like this, cares

Why would she testify? It was only completely her responsibility as head of the State Department.

No problem. Susan Rice can take her place. After all, Billery has her future to think about.
This.

Gee. I knew that Obama is always fully engaged in protecting his own ash, but when another imperial person with rather direct responsibility in the deaths of the ambassador and the other three is simply not agreeable to testify about another grand Obama screw-up and automatic lies, something has to force these ashholes into a public question and answering session, else this country is already too far gone to salvage.
They cannot be allowed to get away with backing Obama’s pathologic lies and stonewalling any longer.
