O’Reilly and Rove agree: GOP disarray would lose 2016 election if it were today
Rove said he agrees with Gingrich on the idea that Clinton would be a challenge to the GOP, but challenged the notion she would be boosted by the support of President Obama. O’Reilly agreed with Gingrich’s overall point that the GOP is “pretty much in disarray and they can’t compete with the organized Democratic machine.” Rove said the Republicans would not win the 2016 election if it were held today, but we still have a ways to go before that.
O’Reilly then brought up a Fox News poll showing a majority of Americans believe spending cuts are the best way for the Obama administration and Congress to deal with the budget crisis. Rove reconciled that number with Obama’s victory by saying the president did a good job pitting the public against Mitt Romney during the race. O’Reilly cited another poll on the budget and said it seems Obama is going against public opinion time after time.

The whole country is in disarray. It’s just that a sizable segment of the public doesn’t realize it(or won’t admit it) yet.
Doughboy on December 13, 2012 at 9:43 AM
Since we just had an election that confirms this, file this under “Obvious Conclusions to Ridiculous Hypotheticals”.

Only way GOP loses in 2016 is if they listen to a squish like O’reilly and a bush azz, piece of sh*t likr rove.
How on earth does anybody take rove seriously, his policies gave us incredible spending and Obama, then he picked our candidates in the 2012 cycle and wasted $100 million.
People like Rove, the bushies/their hanger-ons, etc. are the problem. This entitlement class never lose. If their candidates win/lose they always get paid.
WE need the ins out and the Outs in!!!
Danielvito on December 13, 2012 at 9:45 AM
Gee, thanks for the observation, Captain Obvious.
Bitter Clinger on December 13, 2012 at 9:45 AM
This is silly, of course we would. Fortunately, it is 4 years away, enough time for the awful truths about Obama’s policies to be further felt and enough time to find a suitable standard bearer to fight against it.
thebrokenrattle on December 13, 2012 at 9:46 AM
They get paid for such brilliance. /
Lightswitch on December 13, 2012 at 9:46 AM
And it only took them a month after the last election to figure it out.
Mitoch55 on December 13, 2012 at 9:50 AM
Run Governors Scott Walker and Rick Snyder who are busy DOING something. But of course the primaries will be filled with every kook named Bush, evangelical loon, or those with a TV gig.
Marcus on December 13, 2012 at 9:51 AM
The GOP will never win another national election after they cave on amnesty again. The spineless stuffed shirts in the GOP have been terrorized by the MSM and know their careers could never survive the Palin treatment so they ‘reach across the aisle’ to enable the destruction of our country from the radical left .
DeweyWins on December 13, 2012 at 9:54 AM
What would be the point of winning 2016?
ninjapirate on December 13, 2012 at 9:54 AM
We had best not vote for them then.
thebrokenrattle on December 13, 2012 at 9:59 AM
The GOP will always lose the election as long as the Dems continue to cheat in the key districts of swing states.
The Rogue Tomato on December 13, 2012 at 9:59 AM
Rove the guy that gave us these financed losers for the senate;
Lisa McMahon Ct- loser
Jebs pal- Connie Mack jr Fla- loser
linda lingle Ha- loser
Charlie summer me- loser
Scott brown ma- loser
pete hoestra Mich- loser
denny rehberg Mt- loser
heather wilson NM- loser
rick berg North dakota- loser
josh mandel ohio- loser
tom smith Pa- loser
George allen va- loser
tommy thompson Wisc- loser
The above establishment candidates (rove backed this trash thru his american crossroads organization) closed out grassroots candidates. Rove cost us easy winnable seats in Florida/Mt/ND/Va/Wisc by picking old crap.
Then starting in 2008, for 4 FREAKIN years thru his perch at Fox and cornering the “whale” donors he picked romneycare for us costing us the presidency. He closed out competition because the best candidates Palin, deMint etc. had no chance with no monies available.
Rove is a fu*king cancer. Get him out of the party. Is he a mole for democrats. He & the bushes have destroyed the party with their liberal unprincipled sh*t. How’s that reaching out to blacks, hispanics, single woman work Rove you pr*ck. How about the noval idea of trying to PERSUADE those groups with issue positions.
God, I hate Rove!!!
Danielvito on December 13, 2012 at 10:05 AM
Karl Rove works for the Bush party and should have been booted out the door after we lost Congress in 2006.
Punchenko on December 13, 2012 at 10:28 AM
You can vote for whoever. Every niche has its fans. The majority of the country will just vote for the other.
Marcus on December 13, 2012 at 10:36 AM
…and if my aunt had balls, she’d be my uncle. Thanks for the insight Karl.
Clink on December 13, 2012 at 10:38 AM
Every time Rove appears in public, much less speaks, the Democrats gain ground in the minds of the electorate.
kunegetikos on December 13, 2012 at 10:45 AM
Take a chill pill, buddy. Why do people like you always want to blame Karl Rove and “the establishment?”
I like Karl Rove. He is an analyst and gives his opinion. You don’t have to agree with it. He doesn’t have the power over the masses that you think he does.
bluegill on December 13, 2012 at 10:45 AM
Oh, you are a Sarah Palin fanatic. That explains it. Should have known right away after seeing your unhinged ramblings about “the establishment” supposedly selecting our candidates for us.
Why are the dumbest Republican voters always Sarah Palin worshipers? I am not saying that all Sarah Palin fans are dumb, just that the 3% most stupid Repulican voters often have a special fixation with Palin.
bluegill on December 13, 2012 at 10:52 AM
But that Mitt Romney sure was a winning horse.

Says the azz that was pimping romneycare on every thread and attacking Palin with your dripping venon for years. You have no credibility. You pick losers with no principe.
I asked you before, with your over 25,000 shrill attacking posts of palin, point to one over the years that you said something positive about her.
I’m not a republican, I’m a conservative. Big difference. So you say Palin supporters are dumb, then explain to me why 60 million people voted for her in 2008. Does that make 60 million people dumb. Oh by the way, that’s more than 3%.
Why the hatred toward palin. do you fear her that much. Like on cue, Palin is mentioned and you attack. I actually feel sorry for you, you really need help.
Bluegill, Rove is NOT an analyst moron. He is an establishment power player. Idiot, his $100 million dollar American crossroads organization is what makes him so.
God, your hopeless. By the way, I’m going to give you a coronary;
Palin, Palin, Palin, Palin, Palin, Palin…………..
Danielvito on December 13, 2012 at 11:06 AM
I’d like to see those who are constantly critical of people like Rove and O’Reilly get their own TV shows to see how well they’d run them, how well they’d do in the ratings, and what their topics of conversation would be. That’d only be fair, right?
Most of these amateurs could never get above the cable access level, either in organization, delivery, or ratings – I wonder if they are aware of this?
Anti-Control on December 13, 2012 at 11:09 AM
The Bush League needs to STFU and leave politics.
portlandon on December 13, 2012 at 11:23 AM
And there we have it. Anybody who mentions Sarah Palin’s name, once – in a list of other, viable choices, is a fanatic. Just like anyone who doesn’t like President Obama is racist, and anyone against homosexual marriage is a homophobe, and…
Mitoch55 on December 13, 2012 at 11:49 AM
Well, the O’Reilly/Rove GOP would certainly lose at any rate, and rightly so!
