Groups vow to push right-to-work in other states
The conservative groups that supported Michigan’s new “right to work” law — winning a stunning victory over unions, even in the heart of American labor — vowed Wednesday to replicate that success elsewhere. …
“There is not much of a movement to do it,” Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett told a Philadelphia radio station this week, according to the Associated Press. His lack of enthusiasm was shared by two other governors who have battled with unions, Wisconsin’s Scott Walker and Ohio’s John Kasich. …
“If Michigan can do it, then I think everybody ought to think about it,” said Mark Mix, president of the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation. He said he thinks at least one more state will adopt such a law before the end of 2013, and listed Alaska, Missouri, Montana and Pennsylvania among the top contenders. “Very confident. It will happen. [But] I can’t tell you where the next one is.”

Liar. If Corbett’s not careful, come 2014 he won’t even have a chance to lose in the general election.

Drain those Democrats of union $$$.

Roughly $100 per month, less the union dues you no longer have to pay ($40 per month when I was forced to pay).
Seems like a bargain. And then you are rid of all the people drunk or asleep at their desks that the union protected and rid of union stewards harassing you to be more “active” like walking precincts for the local Dems.

For those who missed this part of the story in Michigan, one of the real ‘nice guys’ of Lansing was a victim of the union thugs, losing most of his catering equipment.
But this has a good news happy ending, the donation page set up here has averaged $1,000 an HOUR and Clint will have at least $27,000 to replace equipment, get himself the nicest hotdog stand in Michigan, and continue his work helping the homeless and ministering in hospitals. Even union supporters are chipping in. A feel-good Christmas story.

In Ohio, a citizens group is beginning to collect signatures to get RTW on the ballot for November 2013 as a Constitutional amendment because the Ohio GOP is too spineless to attempt RTW.

Agree. No way Kasich and the gang are going to work this in again. They are still smarting from the spanking of the repeal and Kasich may not be re-elected still because of it. ( which is mind numbing because he has brought this state back from the brink of death) Even heard Ted Strickland is favored to run against Kasich in 14. I’m already weary just pondering the idiocy of the average voter.

Of the four, I think Alaska would be easiest. Means petition drive. Montana wouldn’t be that difficult either.
If we get either state to go RTW, that means half the states – 25 – will be RTW.

Right to work? I thought you said ‘fight or work’.
