New scientific theory: What makes people gay
Long thought to have some sort of hereditary link, a group of scientists suggested Tuesday that homosexuality is linked to epi-marks — extra layers of information that control how certain genes are expressed. These epi-marks are usually, but not always, “erased” between generations. In homosexuals, these epi-marks aren’t erased — they’re passed from father-to-daughter or mother-to-son, explains William Rice, an evolutionary biologist at the University of California Santa Barbara and lead author of the study…
Rice and his team created a mathematical model that explains why homosexuality is passed through epi-marks, not genetics. Evolutionarily speaking, if homosexuality was solely a genetic trait, scientists would expect the trait to eventually disappear because homosexuals wouldn’t be expected to reproduce. But because these epi-marks provide an evolutionary advantage for the parents of homosexuals: They protect fathers of homosexuals from underexposure to testosterone and mothers of homosexuals from overexposure to testosterone while they are in gestation.

Thanks, you too!
I was married once, and my ex, also a Christian, was bi. I knew it before she did and had to help her acknowledge it, as she was too ashamed and embarrassed to admit it to herself.
What was good is that she accepted it very easily, and fortunately she never felt guilty about it – maybe knowing that I found that aspect of her incredibly sexy helped? lol

Oh, right, sure… and it wasn’t just talking her into it so you could fulfill your fantasy to have a three-way with two women.

Depending on how serious you are, you’d be surprised about the truth of who pushed for it – women are amazing when they know their men are sincerely letting them have as long of a leash as they want!

So you’ve never had a ___________? Sucks for you.
I’m a prick and I would never put myself into that hole.

You can find story after story in places like Salon of lesbian women giving it up and going back to men. Does no one remember Anne Heche?
IMO, lesbians have a large contingent of bisexuals-by-choice amongst them. Most pronstars are bi, by choice, so it seems to be an easier path due to the culture stating “it’s hot” to watch two broads go at it, and the fact women are taught to recognize a woman’s beauty/attractiveness/hotness, while guys have not been, until the very recent metrosexual fad.
They know. That’s the “member’s only” secret.
As for why not recognize the spectrum, it screws up the narrative.
How can the advocates get the guvment to grant them special rights and legislation if they admit a percentage of the team made the lifestyle choice?
That’s like stating Eminem could sue for discrimination because he chooses to act street black.
Notice how LibFree never popped up in this thread?
