WH: “There will be blood” might not mean real blood
President Obama’s spokesman cited the ambiguity of the statement, “there will be blood,” as he avoided condemning the remark made by a Michigan Democrat who opposes the imminent state’s right-to-work legislation.
“The president believes in debate that’s civil,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said today. “I haven’t seen those comments and I’m not sure that they mean what some would interpret them to mean. I just haven’t seen them.”

I’m sure they meant oil. More oil.
Algae oil.

But, targets on geographical, congressional targets mean the actual, physical heads of Democrats.
Gotcha.

But they would never give Sarah Palin the benefit of the doubt.
Not these people. Know who we are fighting.

How underwhelming of him!

Liar
So you have to “see” the spoken word?
Unless a Republican said them…am I right?
For a Press Secretary, and someone who is supposed to be up on current events, you use this excuse a lot.
Left Coast Right Mind on December 11, 2012 at 11:38 PM
It depends what your definition of “blood” is.
Just like it depends on what your definition of “gun” is. Whatever, it’s all okay as long as the speaker is a Democrat.

Have you noticed how Carney has never seen, heard, or had knowledge of any of the most important news of the day?

Of all the riots that have taken place in America since the Watts Riot in 1965, I can’t recall a WH ever, ever refusing to condemn violence. As it is, they’re probably cackling behind the scenes over this.
INC on December 12, 2012 at 1:18 AM
More evidence that all that “new tone” was the biggest load of horse **** ever concocted by the Left.
Face it people, this is a war we are in. It’s not a guns war, but that is only because we still have people who care about enforcing laws. If the police went and hid for a year, there would be a full blown civil war in this country.

Jay Carney told us he’s trying to be incredibly opaque.
I say we take him at his word. Of course, his word isn’t worth squadoosh…

…..but the WH sure had a lot to say about Limbaugh calling Fluke a slut.
…………violence, hatred, domestic terrorism, and racism coming from liberal groups like OWS and the Unions……not so much.
This is no surprise….Obama called for this:

Hoffa:
Liberals love using violence against their political opponents almost as much as they love War,and Lobbyist:

Welcome to phase two of the radical transformation: Obama-sanctioned violence.
Why haven’t Crowder’s attackers been arrested yet! It’s a slam dunk case of assault and battery.
We’ve got the videos. There’s plennty of evidence.

Unless they put the heat on the Obama to reign in his thugs, he will double down on the agitation leading to 1960′s redux or worse. But this time they will not let the crisis go to waste.

For people so adept at discerning “code words” for racism and all that, it is surprising that they are incapable of understanding a direct quote.
You know; what was NOT said is what they heard vs what WAS said is not what they heard.
Can we laugh at them now ?
Jabberwock on December 12, 2012 at 6:59 AM
Yes. There will be blood. When the lefties finally start the fight they’re itching to have.
Washington Nearsider on December 12, 2012 at 7:16 AM
The word “blood” in Austrian means “balloons”, so Hoffa meant that the unions will be providing balloons to bucktoothed, orphaned children who walk with a limp. And what kind of conservative savage wouldn’t want to give balloons to those kids?
Bishop on December 12, 2012 at 7:26 AM
That’s possible actually. When I tell them to kiss my grits I don’t mean actual grits either.
MikeA on December 12, 2012 at 7:36 AM
Democrats get away with this because they control the media.
The media is the root of our problems.
It appears we are just accepting that this is the way life is. I don’t accept it. I will no longer just laugh and ignore it. The media gave us Obama a second time. Most Obama voters do not know what Bengazi is about but still knew how much money Palin spent on clothes four years ago.
Fight the media. Organize and fight. Together we can take down or replace one of the big media stations.
Or we accept forever the fact that our grandchildren will hate us and think we were a bunch of violent racists.
I will not accept this.

Does Obama’s side realize that we’ve been kinda waiting for a provocation? Not for the sake of blood, but for the sake of freedom?

Is that blood or blood-blood?
tommy71 on December 12, 2012 at 9:08 AM
Of course “There will be blood” wasn’t meant literally…Crowder’s incidint aside…I have no doubt about that. Just like the infamous “cross-hair” graphic on that Palin website wasn’t meant in the literal sense either. What will be interesting is that if some loon does take the “blood” thing seriously and, God forbid, someone is hurt or killed…what the response will be from the Left.
But I suppose we all know what that would be anyway.
JetBoy on December 12, 2012 at 9:14 AM
Re: Sarah Palin, it’s “tut, tut, words have consequences, *sadly shakes head back and forth*”. With this guy, it’s, we don’t know anything about it. Ha. Obama was just there speaking on the same issue! This is one of his fellow Democrats, fellow elected officials, fellow fighter against “Right to Work” laws, whose vote in the State Senate on these issues matters.

That is a major understatement. Carney’s continual bumbling obfuscations are really getting old. Yet, the WH press corps rarely throws him anything but Nerf balls.
