“Hello Manny. I ran for president. I lost.”
Romney and his wife, Ann, were guests of Nevada State Athletic Commission chairman Bill Brady at the fight at the MGM Grand hotel arena. Brady hosted a fundraiser for Romney during the presidential campaign.
The Romneys arrived during the undercard, drawing little reaction from the crowd.

Yeah. I saw that story where Mr. Romney went to wish their favored boxer good luck before the fight in Vegas. During Manny Pacquiao suffering a shocker of a beatdown, the looks on Mr. & Mrs. Romney’s faces told the tale.

No Mitt, we did.

“Get out the Vote?”, now they tell me.

The concerned looks on the faces of Mitt and Ann will appear sunny compared to what we will see on the faces of ordinary Americans over the next 4 years as America goes into another recession.
57% of those polled say they will vote for Hillary Clinton for President in 2016. It’s as though Benghazi never happened. There is much work to do and it should start with the realization that Romney may well have maximized the GOP vote this election cycle. The continued swiping at a man who worked his butt off for us is unseemly.

Another recession?
Boy are you an optimist…

The freeloaders simply don’t care. Look at the defending people do when their favorite star sins. And I include conservatives and Christians.
The morals of this country are not in the toilet; they’re in the septic tank.

Too bad Obama wasn’t in the ring.

Liberals across the spectrum are mentally incapable of internalizing the results of their policies – from the Obamaphone woman to academia, there is always another explanation. You literally will never break through to them because they believe in what feels right, so even if liberalism is a disaster, what’s more important is that they feel like they’re doing the right thing.

Honestly, outside of the fact that Mitt Romney was at the fight, among fight fans, this was definitely not only the upset of the year but also the fight of the year. If this was Romney’s first time to a fight, it was a great one to choose.

So is Romney like Royalty now, they’re going to report everything he does like people care?
FloatingRock on December 9, 2012 at 12:02 PM
Freddie Roach hardest hit.

I wonder who the next HBO 24/7 boxing reality star will be…
Ladysmith CulchaVulcha on December 9, 2012 at 12:07 PM
You ever been ringside? EVERYBODY feels like royalty. It must have been nice for the other fans to have the Romney’s right there.
I love to see him out having a life. GO MITT. Screw the backbiters and syndicators.

That was a heck of a fight.
