Senator Mark Sanford?
Don’t rule it out. In an interview, the former South Carolina governor said he’d been by bombarded Thursday by calls and emails from former donors and allies encouraging him to consider a run in the 2014 election for Mr. DeMint’s seat. And, guess what? He’s not dismissing the idea.
“It’s not a ‘no,’ but it’s not a ‘yes,’ ” Mr. Sanford said.

Quite an ego if he does try and run.

He’d probably hit on the governor and ask her to go “hiking in the Appalachians” No thanks.

Come on, no one is that stupid. If Gov. Haley picked him, I would start looking for buried bodies.

Believe me, he is not going to be appointed by Nikki Haley. However, he might try to run for office in 2014.

DeMint is on Beck’s show now and will be asked who he wants to replace him!

Admittedly, every day millions of men around the world make fools of themselves over a woman. But usually not this spectacularly. And then they don’t go and think they can run for the US Senate in a very conservative state.

Why not? Our Republic is going down the moral drain anyway.
BigGator5 on December 7, 2012 at 11:34 AM
As a Dem? He does have that air of entitlement required of Leftists.
Akzed on December 7, 2012 at 11:36 AM
I’d vote for his wife for Senate. Him? Not so much.
portlandon on December 7, 2012 at 11:37 AM
Why not? People seem to love disgraced former President Bill Clinton. Morals, ethics, and integrity are no longer important. Let the world see just what kind of dirtbags the Dems support and then just destroy him at the voting polls.
DAT60A3 on December 7, 2012 at 11:38 AM
He wont replace DeMint, but maybe he’ll challenge Graham. Now, that would be a tough choice.

Didn’t he force a trade trip to Argentina solely so he could hook up with his honey?

Mark who?
apostic on December 7, 2012 at 11:45 AM
Well, I could see Dems REALLY wanting Sanford to run.
Creepy tearful lovesick puppy tapes on an endless loop. Absolute nightmare.

Sansfors’s ex-wife would love to be appointed and I would not put that past Nikki Haley.
SC.Charlie on December 7, 2012 at 11:51 AM
Really?
SC.Charlie on December 7, 2012 at 11:53 AM
Just go away… Seriously, this guy basically ditched his job as governor for a week so he could go to Argentina for a booty call.
