Report: Vogue editor Anna Wintour, next U.K. ambassador?
The commander in chief is mulling whether to appoint Wintour, one of his biggest reelection campaign fundraising bundlers, as ambassador to the United Kingdom or France, according to Bloomberg News’s Hans Nichols.
Obama’s campaign finance chairman, Matthew Barzun, is reportedly also in the running for one of the positions.

The confirmation hearings should be a hoot.
If “The Devil Wears Prada” was accurate, I doubt this woman is used to answering questions.

Man, Obama despises Britain more than we ever suspected.

Campaign contributors have historically been rewarded with Ambassadorships – to places like Dilbert’s Elbonia. The UK might be a little miffed at getting an amateur.

Policial payoff, everyone knows it. The excuse will be Republicans did it too.
Dollayo on December 4, 2012 at 11:35 PM
If a Republican had so much as considered appointing one of their corporate donors to such a high profile ambassador position the media would’ve regard it as a scandal and they would wasted no time probing into the appointee’s background. But since it’s Teh Won it’s all good.

If the answer is A or C how can she be eligible for any Government position?
countrybumpkin on December 5, 2012 at 9:27 AM
