Indeed and it’s pointless.

Being an American involves accepting that there are actually quite a lot of people out there that will hate you simply for that. Even the dang Canadians know it. That’s why they stitch the Maple Leaf to their kit – they want to get through their foreign travels without someone mistaking them for an American. It’s not national pride in Canada (does such a thing even exist?) – it’s acceptance that engenders fear and a coping strategy.

Being an American AND a Jew necessarily involves a lot of extra people hating you. A mere 7 countries voted against the farce that went down at the UN the other day.

Evaluate, adapt, and overcome or be a sheep and see how that works out. As Shy notes above – it doesn’t.
