US slams Israel on new settlement plan
The Obama administration on Monday harshly criticized its top Mideast ally, Israel, over new settlement construction plans in areas the Palestinians claim for a future state and urged it to rethink them.
The White House and State Department said the plans run counter to longstanding U.S. policy, particularly as they relate to a sensitive piece of land outside Jerusalem known as E1.
“We reiterate our long standing opposition to Israeli settlement activity and East Jerusalem construction,” White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters. “We oppose all unilateral actions, including settlement activity and housing construction as they complicate efforts to resume direct, bilateral negotiations and risk prejudging the outcome of those negotiations and this including building in the so called E-1 area.”

Barky wants his pals the Palestinians to have whatever land they want. Bibi Netanyahu thinks Barky should pound sand. Methinks so too.

Is it possible for us to just stay out of all of this?

Clarification, is it possible for the US government to stay out of all this? I have no problem with private citizens supporting Israel as much as they like.

Or as I like to call it, Tel Aviv.

Is Israel just rebuilding homes destroyed from Hamas terrorist attacks or is this about something else?

Palestine’s pseudo-statehood also violates longstanding US foreign policy, so tell me how hard you worked to stop that.
And Israel’s actions are hardly unilateral — UN recognition violates the Oslo Accord agreement where Israel agreed to defer those settlements. Palestinians broke it first, so now they’re crying because Israel doesn’t feel bound to it anymore? Cry me a river.

Another strongly worded letter will be issued which Bibi will promptly trash.

Why Israel has gone ballistic over the ‘Palestinians’

I also slam Israel over its E1 plan – why isn’t it built already!?

“Israel Gone ballistic”…
Ballistic would be to disconnect the “Palestinians” from Israeli utility companies like water and electricity and let them buy it from Jordan. (And do the same to Gaza, let them get it from Egypt.)
Ballistic would be to bar all “fighting age male” “Palestinians” from Jerusalem.
Ballistic would be no longer allowing “Palestinians” to go work in Israel. Let them get jobs in Jordan / “West Bank”.
Many other punitive measures that Israel’s had for a long time and never used, and yet has been painted as Nazi Germany by the world press. 3000 units in E1? That’s nothing.
