College demands construction crew remove “sexist” caution sign
A construction crew working on the campus of Ohio’s Sinclair Community College was forced to halt work until it removed a “Men Working” sign that was deemed “sexist” by a college administrator. A spokesman for the college told National Review Online that the incident, which occurred on November 21, stemmed from the school’s “deep commitment to diversity,” and that it takes that commitment “very seriously.”

I say remove it and when one of the elitist academic fools finds that they’ve accidentally driven their car into a giant hole and received a bunch of jackhammer damage on the roof and dog turds on the interior… well let them know it was their own stupid fault… They didn’t want the warning sign.

Actually the college administrator screwed up. The students had a beef with the word “working”, they didn’t understand the term.

I sure hope the faculty & admin. are 50:50 male/female. If not fire & replace some for diversity…

I was just talking to somebody about the “erotic film festival” they used to have at NIU when I was there in the late 70s. In 1979 they showed Deep Throat and Opening of Misty Beethoven. They also had a drawing where a coed could win a date with the star of Deep Throat, Harry Reems.
I’m not necessarily condoning porn being shown on campus but it highlights the difference between now and 33 years ago.
