Bombshell: Axelrod to shave his ‘stache
Earlier this month, Axelrod agreed to shave his mustache on “Morning Joe” if the show’s hosts could raise $1 million for epilepsy charity he founded. At a fundraiser last night in Boston, the campaign hit the $1 million mark.
“David says he’s going to come on our show on December 7th, a day which will live in infamy, and cut his mustache,” “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough announced on Thursday.

Careful you don’t cut the skin to expose the lizard pelt beneath.

Don’t worry . . . he will quickly grow back half of a stache.
There must a be a Godwin’s law for jokes, but I could not resist.

The good news, $1 million was raised for a good cause…the best use of someone like him.

Axelrod founded a charity? For what? To scam money from people? This guy is evil and couldn’t care less about anyone.

Now which is more important Axerod’s mustache or a $16 trillion dollar debt.
That’s easy, the mustache!
We have no media today!

HA could raise double that; extort us for $2MM in charitable donations to keep the resulting mug shot off the front page. You’d have it in 10 hours.

C’mon man let’s not start to sound like the lefties and their hatred of Rove. His daughter has epilepsy. The guy is a slimy SOB who obviously believes the ends justify the means, but he probably believes that the ends he seeks are good. He may not be a good person but let’s save the “evil” label for people that are demonstrably evil.

He’s taking over the day the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor?
What a self-centered jerk.

If Mr. Axelrod would prefer to lose the mustache without a shave, I would be delighted to get the job done with a blowtorch.

My thought as well. Why not just wait to do it on September 11th?
CTSherman on November 29, 2012 at 3:50 PM
He must really have wanted to shave it off. He has used it as collateral for a bet at least twice in the past month.
cptacek on November 29, 2012 at 3:54 PM
His daughter has epilepsy and he’s worked tirelessly to destroy the nation by lying, cheating, stealing and doing everything he can to do that. No morals, no scruples. Gee … maybe he’s not evil after all.

I am no fan of his…but I always root for someone who raises that kind of money for a charity, especially since it affects him personally.
That’s why Tip O’Neil and Reagan could have a drink after hours, they were both opposing views, Tip was every bit a partisan…but they both fought for what they believed is right.
Attack policies all you want…but attacking someone for raising money for a cause that is personal like this, you will lose every time.

My first comment was just expressing incredulity that Axelrod would do anything on the up and up.
