A risky fight over Susan Rice for the White House
Obama has not told even close aides whether he will select Rice, according to a senior White House official. In a show of support, however, she was present Wednesday during Obama’s first full Cabinet meeting since the election. The president responded to a question about whether lawmakers are “being fair” to Rice by complimenting her as “extraordinary.” …
But with lawmakers potentially facing difficult votes on taxes or entitlements, confirmation could come at a high political cost for Obama and vulnerable Democrats facing reelection in 2014. …
The controversy surrounding Rice, a former management consultant who was an early supporter of Obama, has increased scrutiny of her personal affairs.
On Wednesday, a Web site run by the nonprofit Natural Resources Defense Council noted that Rice and her husband own millions of dollars worth of stock in Canadian energy and pipeline companies that would benefit from the construction of the proposed Keystone XL pipeline; if she became secretary of state, one of the first decisions she would have to make would probably involve Keystone’s permit.

Didnt the white liberal WaPo Editorial board call people racist for questioning her? Go * yourselves.

It is almost to the point of letting them do what they do best?
Nutter, Nagin, Booker, “OuttaTown” Brown. Let it burn, let the states that know how to manage their budget leave. There used to be a word that described making a group of people work for another that sat on their asses collecting the rewards for the workers…

His excessive incompetence as well as hers don’t matter. For that matter the water totting media’s incompetence does not factor into any realm of reality either.
I have decided we need toss everything except for basic common sense law (wait there is no one in charge that knows what that is) and start from scratch.
The whole lot needs to be run our of dodge along with the bureaucratic nightmare they have helped to create.
Time for a revolution!

Actually, I see the problem solving itself: once Leviathan collapses from its sheer mass, the nightmare will be reduced to the very basics again (assuming, of course, some level of sanity in the ruling class) for lack of funding. We’ll have come full circle — extremely limited central government, real power at the state level, and a huge number of unemployed that, for reasons of basic survival, will be reduced to slaves (and no, I don’t mean African-Americans — I’m talking the former bureaucratic class that has no real skills to make it in the future economy). Maybe this post-Apocalyptic Congress can run through the amendments and repeal the ones that have been most damaging (17th comes to mind)…

Agree 100%. For all the things that matter in life, we have have zero in common with half the country anymore. These are not JFK Democrats we’re dealing with – they are extinct. There’s no middle ground to be had with these people.
Obama, who fancies himself some modern-day bizarro Lincoln, would never willingly allow “maker” states leave. He needs his tax slaves to feed his government leviathan. So, I recommend economically isolating ourselves from Blue America as much as possible. Don’t travel there. Don’t spend money there. Don’t do business there. Political independence will only occur after divided citizens have already separated ourselves from them economically.

I had a dream last night that I ran for congress on the explicit message of bringing down the federal government by spending like there is no tomorrow and completely eating the rich. My campaign slogan in the dream was, you guess it: “Let It Burn”
BigGator5 on November 29, 2012 at 11:43 AM
Obama ran the same campaign. He simply used thew more obscure slogan FORWARD.
