“[E]ven during sex, I never noticed anything”
The deception unraveled after the transsexual began frequenting nightclubs and getting emails from other men.
“I pushed her against the wall and said. … ‘Are you a man?’ She then announced that she was born as a boy and that she had been operated on. She was now a woman, and so she did not need to tell me about her past as a man,” the husband said.
“My world collapsed. That evening came to blows. The police came.”

That’s why I made my spouse get a genetic test before the marriage. Just needed the peace of mind.

I’m not sure if I want clarification on the “blows” or under what circumstances the police “came”.

So, after 19 years of a sterile marriage, it only now is a big shock?
Count to 10 on November 28, 2012 at 9:45 PM
What a load of crap. Marriage is trust, and that includes telling your partner your past. I hope the husband knocked him out.

This didn’t qualify for a “Dude!” headline?
Cecil on November 28, 2012 at 9:46 PM
This is why we need a standard on birth certificates. A birth certificate is a record of what happened at birth, not some wish fulfillment. It should never be allowed to be changed and should be accurate. Not just with regard to gender. The biological parents should be noted if known.

Seeing as it turned out NOT to be a dude….
CurtZHP on November 28, 2012 at 9:58 PM
Genitals and boobs don’t determine gender, genetics do. This politically correct transgender is very anti-science, I thought liberals were all about science?
I will consider transsexuals a third sex if that makes them feel better, but a man can not become a woman and a woman can not become a man.
Daemonocracy on November 28, 2012 at 9:58 PM
….even though it started out as one….

Perhaps we should take note of how dog-breeders go about arranging things.

Wait a minute. They can fix it so good you won’t notice down there something is… odd? Scary.

I’ll grant those “intersex” — with mixed genitals — as a third sex. Not transsexuals. By the way, intersex (used to be hermaphrodite) did NOT ask to be born that way. It could happen to any of us.

From a graphic seen on FB:
I was sitting across from this sexy, gorgeous Thai woman on the train. I kept thinking, “Don’t get an erection… don’t get an erection…”
But she did.

That’s just so…ew. When I do marry, I’d like to get those awkward questions out of the way while dating and such, you know. And always always always never marry outside your religion or politics.

Almost perfect
Cecil on November 28, 2012 at 11:44 PM
But this guy was married before, and obviously had done the deed with his first wife, since his second “wife” was their nanny.

Well said, my friend. I don’t really plan on dating / getting married, but should I happen to change my mind, those are two questions to be asked on the first date!

Pssht. I saw that film (minus this story’s penis reshaping/testicle removal). It was M. Butterfly, based on both the opera Madame Butterfly, and a real British Diplomat who swore the chick he was banging (and leaking secrets to) for 2 decades was not a man, despite the male “baggage” that was apparent to Secret Service.

Actually, it was a French diplomat: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_Boursicot
After both were arrested, they received 6 year sentences but were released after 1 year. I don’t know why they allowed the opera singer to remain in France. They should have kicked him back to Red China. Also, there was no sex change involved. He just “hid” it. The diplomat eventually came out of the closet and is now shacked up with some guy.
Blake on November 29, 2012 at 8:13 AM
There are many quotes and stories about the case but most leave out this quote: Boursicot wearily said that “He did so many things against me that he had no pity for, I think it is stupid to play another game now and say I am sad. The plate is clean now. I am free.”
