Does the United States government have a legal obligation to protect the guy they accused of making the movie? I can tell you this much – the US would have to invoke sovereign immunity to escape tort liability if anything bad happens to him.

We are in the throes of an idiot government that has zero manners.

Pure theater. They’re safe as long as they don’t enter the country.

And tbh, given the chaotic way the country is run they could probably fly there and have a two week vacation and no one would be the wiser.

You know, given their sensitivity to anything related to Mohammed, why aren’t all the male muslims named Mohammed in trouble? I mean, aren’t they insulting the prophet every time they do anything wrong – wiping with the wrong hand, checking out the ankle on that burkha over there, wondering why the infidel thinks so highly of bacon, etc.? Can we maybe work out to have some cleric reason this through and issue a fatwa about guys named Mohammed? Could be interesting to watch………..

So are they going to request extradition from the US?

I might be that if the US will send that devil spawn blind guy back to egypt, that ‘death in absentia’ might not happen? Just asking if it could happen?
