Romney’s digital guru convenes election post-mortem
For a lot of Republicans, what didn’t work is the fact that their candidate lost. Whether it’s justified or not, digital director Zac Moffatt has come in for a disproportionate share of heat among Republicans unhappy about the result.
On Dec. 6, Moffatt and Republican National Committee digital-strategy director Tyler Brown will have a chance to explain themselves and their strategy before an audience of leading Republican digital practitioners at an RNC event at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington.
“As far as I know the Romney website didn’t crash. That worked,” said a GOP insider with knowledge of the process. “All kidding aside,” he said, “I hope this isn’t just an effort to hold hands and sing ‘Kumbaya,’ and keep doing the things that haven’t been working. If people are honest, this is going to be a pretty hard meeting for the people hosting it.”

Why do these major losers keep getting attention. On both sides political consultants and campaign managers that have NO record of success keep getting jobs and keep getting attention from the press. Why does abject failure NOT disqualify these idiots for attention?

Have these people been so sheltered from life that they’ve never before been hit by failure or hard knocks?
It’s understandable to have some ongoing private conversations and analysis, but this public self-justification, excuse-making, and blaming others is childish. It appears there were not a lot of ADULTS working on the campaign.
Not since Al Gore of 2000 have I seen such a sore loserman mentality or inability to move on.
