Poll: 54% dissatisfied with White House’s response to Benghazi attack
“But that dissatisfaction is not because Americans see a cover-up,” said CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. “Only 40% believe that the inaccurate statements that administration officials initially made about the Benghazi attack were an attempt to deliberately mislead the public. Fifty-four percent think those inaccurate statements reflected what the White House believed to be true at the time.”
Nearly half of those questioned (48%) say that the U.S. could have prevented the attack on its consulate in Benghazi, with 42% saying the U.S. could not have prevented the attack.
According to the poll, the public is split right down the middle on how the Obama administration’s handled the Petraeus resignation, with 44% saying that officials handled it appropriately and 44% disagreeing with that view.

Actually surprised as the media has been covering this up for months. Who are the 40% idiots other than Joe Klein?
Bensonofben on November 27, 2012 at 11:22 AM
Who gave the Stand Down order?
Why were our people left to die in Libya?
Where were our air assets?
Why were SOF personnel left sitting in the tarmac in Europe with their thumbs in their asses?
Was there an AC130 that could’ve provided fire support?
What was the Ambassador doing in Benghazi?

Yet enough of those complainers voted for the
incompetent boobguy, or stayed home, to give him the job for four more years.cozmo on November 27, 2012 at 11:24 AM
Wow! That 40+% of the country are clueless just reinforces the election results. We won’t win an election until we overthrow the LSM.

Idiots
Lsm covering up the cover up so naturally they see nothing wrong
I really hate them
cmsinaz on November 27, 2012 at 11:24 AM
ted c- do you work for Fox News? Otherwise you’d be asking ‘boxers or briefs’ at the next press conference.
Bensonofben on November 27, 2012 at 11:25 AM
46% supports it? So has obozo lost a little of that 47% or is this a margin of error thing?
Flange on November 27, 2012 at 11:26 AM
I’d like to hear from the survivors and their personal account of what went down. Where are they being sequestered?
Ditkaca on November 27, 2012 at 11:28 AM
The fact that it’s only 54% speaks very poorly of us. ‘Murica!
ramesees on November 27, 2012 at 11:28 AM
Focus on the Regime’s negligence in not providing security and not responding to the attack in progress. Solidly establish the motive for the cover-up. Jumping straight to the cover-up when people have been intentionally deprived of information by the MSM won’t work. And the Susan Rice tangent is a distraction at best. She was used by Obama.

And yet they voted for him.
Cindy Munford on November 27, 2012 at 11:30 AM
The White House doesn’t care. They’re only concerned how Muslims view their response. If the numbers don’t look good Obama may have to call in NASA.
darwin on November 27, 2012 at 11:32 AM
These people had their chance to do something about it on Nov 6. I don’t want to hear them whine now. I seriously don’t want to hear one single solitary complaint about the Obama administration from a 2012 Obama voter. Not one complaint. It would have taken only a few minutes of research and analysis to know that Romney was the better choice for President. While our country absorbs the effects of Obama’s policies over the next four years, his supporters can shut up and own it.

When you’re stupid enough to believe Republicans hate women, gays, blacks, and have built gas chambers for grandma you tend to do stupid stuff like reelect the guy who’s killing the nation.
darwin on November 27, 2012 at 11:33 AM
53% of those would vote for him again. Twice if possible.
vityas on November 27, 2012 at 11:34 AM
Who F’ING cares! You idiots still voted for him.
Reap, bitches. Reap.
RedNewEnglander on November 27, 2012 at 11:35 AM
WHO F’ING CARES?
Some of the same idiots voted him back in.
Reap, bytches. Reap.
RedNewEnglander on November 27, 2012 at 11:36 AM
That low — only 54%? Further evidence that we are, indeed, doomed …
ShainS on November 27, 2012 at 11:37 AM
I think we erred a little in putting so much focus on when they blamed it on a video, and when they called it terrorism, as it is very easy for them to say they weren’t sure initially and didn’t intend to mislead. Or, wanted to confirm the terror link before calling it such. People are willing to give them wiggle room on that.
What should be the primary focus, however, is why the consulate had so little security, why additional security was denied and WHO denied it, and why the ambassador was there in the first place. It certainly looks like they ignored pleas for help and left him to fend for himself, which is unconscionable. And, what have they done in response? Nobody has been brought to justice…the admin focused more ire on Romney and Republicans than they did those that led the attack.

Dear God.

Just what are they hiding?

Yes, they absolutely abdicated their right to complain the second they voted for Benghazi Barack – They own part of the blame so TSFU!
Galt2009 on November 27, 2012 at 11:54 AM
“54% dissatisfied with White House’s response to Benghazi attack” …
Well, okay, that’s interesting, but, how do people feel about the fact that obama knew the attack was imminent and purposely allowed it to take place, even going so far as to issue a “STAND DOWN” order which directly led to the rape, murder and mutilation of four Americans?
Pork-Chop on November 27, 2012 at 11:58 AM
Makes sense. Because the other 46% all thought Obama did right by old Ben Gozzy. I mean, he got his sh*t didn’t he?
somewhatconcerned on November 27, 2012 at 12:00 PM
Some of those 54% believe he should have left more Americans behind.

(Based on their assertion that most people disapproved of 0bamacare because it doesn’t go far enough toward shoving the government up your @$$.)
