Obama footage appears just once in “Zero Dark Thirty”
President Obama makes a brief appearance seen off a TV and it’s not necessarily positive. While American intelligence is water boarding prisoners, Obama is seen saying he doesn’t believe in torture. The whole first fifteen minutes of so is taken up with the waterboarding of a prisoner. Once you see it, you’ll be writing to your congressman to prevent it from happening again. But Obama disappears after that. And the CIA and the military take over.

We waterboarded, what, like 3 guys? More people were killed by lightening, more people died of snake bites, more people died of heart attacks while having sex, more kids were killed last night in Chicago, more women were stoned to death in the Middle east, more children came home to dead mother and father in the middle east…more children were killed in cars driven by drunks, more most anything happened in life or death, than just 3, just 3 guys being waterboarded…good grief.

This plus the Examiner’s politics section almost demanding that ecstasy-dealers be allowed to adopt kids really in this morning’s paper makes me wonder about the sanity of the paper these days…

Duh. Skilled liberal Hollywood propagandists are skilled at making liberal propaganda. I was dragged to the Lincoln movie while visiting liberal relatives during Thanksgiving, and Spielberg makes it a big point to say out loud in that movie that “conservative Republicans” are awesome and will abolish slavery, all the while promoting his liberal, Marxist worldview.

Dammit. No one says. “0″ (Zero) dark thirty. They say O dark thirty, pronounced “oh” dark thirty.
Although, the zero might be a reference to the president.

If I knew for a fact that a captured terrorist possessed knowledge that if garnered could prevent another attack on my country and that they wanted to electrify his nuts to get the answer, I would certainly write my Congressman.
The email would say, “Red is positive and Black is negative”.

If that’s the way it’s actually filmed, I’m ecstatic! Obama should get some props for giving the go-ahead for shooting Osama, but he needs to get a few pecks in the head for strutting around like a barnyard rooster, pretending he’s savior of the world, neglecting the years of policy and intel that allowed it to happen. And the waterboarding scene should look bad. Make it look bad enough that we never use it lightly, but the story shows that there are rare instances when it must be used.

They cut out the over the top Obama propaganda because they don’t need it for his reelection anymore. They will make more money if they appeal to a broader base of potential viewers. I’m not going to pay to see the movie because of all the access Bigelow was given shortly after the raid.
