Food, healthcare, thoughts, actions, how kids are raised, who you must hire, who must be accepted in school, and on and on and on.

I’ve very much enjoyed the show so far, it shows a bit of a cautionary tale to the current mentalities of my peers. Plus, its pretty funny. Also David Mamet’s daughter is a virgin in the show, and I like that they’re showing the kinds of issues we have at that age as well. And Brian William’s daughter is hot, so I don’t at all mind seeing her in sex scenes either. Just in general, I like the realism of the series.

Apatow’s best work, Freaks and Geeks, a sadly short-running TV show which is basically a panegyric to the Midwest, healthy family relationships, and getting good grades.

Yeah. I loved Freaks and Geeks (likely because I was a bit of each in H.S.)

Hey, since Brian Williams is so snarky, not biting his tongue much nowadays, I wish he’d blurt out what he reeeealy thinks of his daughter’s role in Girls. THAT would be news!

I saw the first season of “Girls.” The first episodes of the first year were excellent. Then for some reason, the last few episodes were terrible…it morphed from, “a comedy with dramatic moments,” to, “a drama with comedic moments.”

I’m going to give the second season a try, but it’ll be on a short leash for me.
