“They want their dad to get respect and then the whole family does well”
Donald Trump’s hatred of Barack Obama allegedly led his three eldest kids to do an Obama-vention before the election. Eric, Donald Jr. and Ivanka discussed telling their dad to calm down, then decided collectively to approach Trump (below) and ask him to turn it down a notch with the presidential bashing.
“The three of them met and went to see their dad in his Fifth Ave. office. They showed a lot of respect, but told him he’s worked too long and too hard to build up the reputation he has. They understand completely he’s always been outspoken and that he likes attention, but this is too much,” says a source who knew about the mid-October meeting.
Trump’s rep denies any such meeting ever took place.

a wise move by the kids. He shot his credibility all to hell.

Trump’s hysteria was reminiscent of some HA comment section writers.
Wildly swinging a hockey stick around never persuaded anyone to do anything except avoid the swinger, & to avoid agreeing with the swinger.
“Jugears”? Bush’s ears protrude. Do you make fun of him as well?
“Odumbo”? He’s actually quite intelligent.
Etc., etc.
And insulting Mrs. Obama is even more counterproductive.
She’s an attractive lady, BTW.

Lying about her as you just did is even more counterproductive. She looks mean and ugly most of the time. Her butt is huge due to all the food she shovels in her mouth while wagging her finger at everyone else. She has no style as evidenced by the orange stretch pants she was seen in while boarding Marine One.

Eric, Donald Jr., and Ivanka are all well-educated people. If true, they are not off base for reminding their father–as I once told my son–Your name is my name, too!
But will their father chill for the sake of legacy? Magic 8 Ball sez: Signs point to NO.

Obama is intelligent and Mrs. Obama is attractive? Lol, talk about being brainwashed by the MSM and the prog internetz hellholes. And we very well remember the hate, scorn and derision towards GWB by the progs. What we do in comparison, is like a stroll in the park.

Great job! You just persuaded 17 moderates to become conservatives!
*facepalm*
Family of Blake, please help him like The Donald’s family helped him.

They are well educated because their father’s name and money got them into the top schools.

I’m confused, when did Donald Trump have credibility?
trubble on November 25, 2012 at 8:53 AM
Wow. You’re dumber and more dishonest than I thought.
Blake on November 25, 2012 at 8:53 AM
You have to have a good measure of brainpower to (barely) beat a very bright Mitt Romney in two out of three debates.
You might object & say Romney won all three, but polls say otherwise, & the purpose of the candidates in the debates was to move the polls.
Yes, liberals were vicious to Bush.
Does that make it right for us to be vicious?

Whos ‘us’, itsnotaboutme?

True, just as Mr. Trump Sr. used his wealth and influence to get his son Donald Trump into the very same top schools circa 1968.
Ladysmith CulchaVulcha on November 25, 2012 at 9:02 AM
Did Trump Jr leak to the press that he thought Trump Sr was an embarrassment in order that he,Trump Jr, fit in with the cool kids? Kind of doubt it.

My initial post referenced drawing the line in difficult parent/child relationships. Where your extrapolation is going, I do not know.
Ladysmith CulchaVulcha on November 25, 2012 at 9:22 AM
Everything his kids have achieved are due to their father’s help. A little respect on their part is more than owed. It’s pretty clear where you’re going so I’m sure this fact will also fly over your head.

Trump was one of the very few people to publicly speak the truth about the Ineligible Indonesian Imbecile. No matter what Trump had said or done before he was defending America in this last election – something very few others with his sort of megaphone were willing to do, including Romney who thought he would make pretend that Barky was no threat to America (reminiscent of McShame’s idiocy in 2008) and just coast in.
Trump did America a great service in 2012. America chose to stand by its SUicide by Indonesian stancew, instead. And so, America is no more. The American Socialist Superstate under a demented, retarded version of Sukarno is all that’s left.

He might get a tiny bit of respect if he’d quit wearing that raccoon on his head and shut up.
Dingbat63 on November 25, 2012 at 11:04 AM
You’re going to need to show your work on that one, because I’ve seen absolutely no evidence to support it.

The polls reflect an increasingly unwise and ignorant population. Romney also did some very (imho) dumb things to play to that ignorant population. The combination of those things led to Obama’s “win” in the polls. Sorry, but Obama is not a highly intelligent man. (Valerie Jarret, on the other hand…..)
