Normal guy doing normal stuff…while the nation is led by a deeply damaged and disturbed wacko this country just re-elected. Ain’t it grand to be an American?
We needed this more than Mitt did. He doesn’t need either the power or the ego boost. He gave it his all. If he had won, he would have again worked his butt off without remuneration. Most of the people beating up on Mitt are morons carrying a brief for someone who didn’t even run.
Wow, Buzzfeed continues to spike the ball post-November 6th. Yeesh, leave the guy alone. Who knew that they would so flagrantly become such spear-carriers for the most puerile strain of liberalism?

Even you would have to admit that Mitt’s presidential runs — both ’08 and ’12 — were at least partially infused with psychological motivation stemming from his father’s defeat in 1968. Classic avenging the father/restoring the family honor stuff. Which, by the way, is fine by me. Any man who isn’t at least in part trying to outdo, outrun, or pay tribute to his father probably doesn’t have much in the way of practical life ambitions.
Most of the time the person who loses the prez race isn’t remembered too fondly, but i have a feeling a lot of people are going to look back at the 2012 election and wish Romney had won.

Even me? Good grief Robert, you make it sound as if I’m not the most cerebral and reasonable person on this site. As someone who is the same age as Mitt and has degrees in Economics and Law and has 3 children and a wife, all of whom I love dearly, I have great respect for Mitt’s accomplishments and his life story. I mourn the loss of what he could have done for the country – and the Republican Party.
Mitt does not strike me as vengeful. He’s too busy fixing things to be bothered with vengeance. Mitt’s motivation isn’t of as much interest to me as the contribution he would have made to our well being. Seeing him attacked by morons “on our side” is distressing.

Well, what do you expect? I’m just not sure what you’re saying here. We all have to go on and do normal stuff and enjoy ourselves, or we’d go mad. Particularly since the other side is so determined to bring it all to a halt and make everyone miserable.
Blowback

Mrs. Romney is not Mrs. Heinz.
The latter sent Kerry to the dog house.
Occasionally she forgets the keys and he escapes, only to make a renewed fool of himself.
On the judgment of Mitt? Silky gloves don’t donw a charlatanic thug machine from Chicago.
Let them play.

He should have closed Disney World down to hold a rally to promote tourism like Obama did.

He is out enjoying family time.
Only to liberals is this scandalous.

Obama won. Let it go already.
As usual, no hate like liberal hate.

Republicans who lose big elections go to Disneyland, ranches, homes, families, and normal life.
Democrats go insane.

Living well is the best revenge. I do believe Mitt intends to continue to enjoy his family and live well.
Poor libs can’t stand that.
