Who politicized intelligence on Benghazi?
Rogers was asked about the talking points U.N. ambassador Susan Rice relied on five days after the assault on the U.S. consulate. Those talking points portrayed the terrorist attack that killed four Americans as a “spontaneous” episode of violence that grew out of a demonstration against an anti-Islam film. There never was any demonstration in Benghazi, however, only a terrorist attack.
Did the intelligence community simply give Rice the wrong information? No, Rogers claimed.
“The intelligence community had it right, and they had it right early,” Rogers said. “What happened was it worked its way up through the system of the so-called talking points, which everyone refers to, and then it went up to what’s called a deputies committee … that’s populated by appointees from the administration.” …
The talking points, “in other words, the narrative of how we would call this event, went up to what’s called a deputies meeting,” Rogers said. And “no one in the professional intelligence community could tell us who changed what.”

Sure, blame it on a committee. Now, who told the committee what to do, or were they reading minds (Axelrod, Jarrett, Obama) on it.

To me, this scandal is one-tenth about the Administration saying the violence was caused by a video and nine-tenths about how the Administration ignored repeated warnings that the Benghazzi consulate was unsafe and needed reinforcements. I’m not sure why so much attention is focused on the lesser of the two incompetencies.

So let me get this straight.Susan Rice did not have it wrong when she said things about Benghazi that were untrue. Their reasoning is that the UN Ambassador actually has no information to work with other than what a group of political appointees provide her. Does this mean that being the UN Ambassador only requires one to be able to read out loud without questioning the content she is provided to read? And for this ability she is now selected to be Sec State?

Hussein failed to provide adequate security for the American consulate in Libya. Hussein ignored requests for more security. Hussein failed to deploy American military assets to respond to the attack. Hussein sent Rice out to lie about the nature and cause of the attack. Hussein then lied about the attack.
Rice is a distraction. Focus on Hussein. Attack Hussein. Impeach Hussein.
