James Clyburn: Republicans are criticizing Susan Rice using racial “code words”
The letter, signed by 97 House Republicans, says Rice “is widely viewed as having either willfully or incompetently misled the American public in the Benghazi matter” — language Clyburn saw as racially loaded.
“You know, these are code words,” Clyburn, the third-ranking Democrat in the House, told CNN. “We heard them during the campaign, during this recent campaign we heard Sen. Sununu calling our president lazy, incompetent, these kinds of terms that those of us, especially those of us who were grown and raised in the South, we would hear these little words and phrases all of our lives and we’d get insulted by them.
“Susan Rice is as competent as anybody you will find, and just to paste that word on her causes problems with people like [incoming Congressional Black Caucus chairwoman] Marcia Fudge and certainly cause a big problem with me,” he added.

It really says a lot that he thinks the word “lazy” refers specifically to black people.

So they’re saying the word “incompetent” means “black”? Wow, what racists they are.

thanks for making that confession.

Well, those dog-whistles must not have reached me, since I didn’t even know that Rice was black until people started accusing her critics of racism. (I get almost all of my news in text and audio forms, in case you’re wondering how I might have missed it. I’d read and heard a lot about her news show performances prior to that, but I hadn’t seen the video of them….)

That should make for a fun Twitter meme:

So in order to not offend minorities we should never vote for them so they won’t be placed in positions where others might criticize them.

Seriously.
If these hypersensitive, whiny children can’t stand the heat, they shouldn’t be allowed into the kitchen in the first place (I’m sure I’m racist somehow for suggesting something so “mean”, “intolerant”, and “offensive”!)

Yep!

“Secretary” is a demeaning, sexist term, implying subservience to an Executive.
“State” implies State’s Rights, segregation and Jim Crow.
Ergo, anyone who wants to see Rice as Secretary of State obviously hates black women.
