Jane Fonda: I shouldn’t have sat on that anti-aircraft gun in North Vietnam
Then, in a “lightning round” Q&A with NBC 4 anchor Robert Kovacik, Fonda touched on a variety of topics: …
– On her greatest regret in life: “Sitting on that gun in North Vietnam. I’ll go to my grave with that one.”

But ya did, Jane. Ya DID sit on the anti-Aircraft gun in North Vietnam.
NickTx on November 19, 2012 at 12:49 PM
She should have sat on the muzzle.
Rixon on November 19, 2012 at 12:50 PM
Anytime she is looking for attention she says that.
Blake on November 19, 2012 at 12:50 PM
I look at it as she got caught at what she was really thinking. Next time I just won’t get caught.

One of my favorite slams on this human parasite is
when I played in a golf outing a number of years ago
for the Slumbering Groundhog Lodge near Qaurryville, PA.
In the men’s restroom was her picture IN THE URINAL.
ToddPA on November 19, 2012 at 12:52 PM
Jane who?
Rocks on November 19, 2012 at 12:52 PM
Yes, yes you will, so stop trotting out the apologies which so seem to retract as often as you make them.
Cindy Munford on November 19, 2012 at 12:53 PM
This should have been about the time her treason prison term should have ended, and her apology would have been more meaningful.
Buddahpundit on November 19, 2012 at 12:53 PM
jane, that wasn’t the only thing you ‘shouldn’t’ have done while in Vietnam! In fact, you shouldn’t have been allowed back in the US what you did to our military in prison with their note passing, IIRC?

“…. because ever since 0bama has been president, I’ve come to realize that war is not such a bad thing, as long as a Democrat is in the White House”

Nasty, stinkin’ old traitor and a terrible LIAR – far from regretting her act of treason, it is her proudest moment – truly the pinnacle of her life as an enemy of America.

I wish I could believe that she felt guilty for siding with the North Vietnamese. But based on previous so-called apologies from her, it’s far more likely she just regrets the bad PR she’s had ever since as a consequence.
Every so often, we’re treated to a story about Jane Fonda apologizing, but it never seems she’s actually sorry for what she did. Just sorry that she still hasn’t been able to live it down.

No Sheet Skank.
Your grave will be well irrigated, but not with water.
LincolntheHun on November 19, 2012 at 1:03 PM
She didn’t renounce her action, only regrets that it ruined her reputation.
Not. Good. Enuf.

Ah, the Hanoi Jane Urinal Sticker. Always a classic.
Since she’ll never pay the price for what she did, that sort of thing is richly deserved.
tom on November 19, 2012 at 1:06 PM
It’s so sad that she got to come back.

“To make up for it, I’m headed to Iran, hoping to get there in time as the Israeli air force flies over and get another photo while I’m sitting at the S300 launch console”
BobMbx on November 19, 2012 at 1:15 PM
Indeed not. You should’ve been flown over it in a remote-controlled plane with “BET YOU CAN’T HIT ME” painted on it in big letters, and loaded with as much external fuel tanks as it could carry.

It’s the miracle the USA is – to grant her and Obamas, the haters of the land, to live such lavish lives.
It’s the blessing and the irony of them all.
Good men/women die so these bastids lead such French-styled and hypocritical lives.
Schadenfreude on November 19, 2012 at 1:28 PM
This heifer will never apologize.
kingsjester on November 19, 2012 at 1:30 PM
She should have been charged with treason, convicted and sentenced appropriately.
darwin on November 19, 2012 at 1:30 PM
Okay, so what exactly is she going to do to make amends for it?
Is she going to donate some of her immense wealth to veteran causes?
She can flap her gums all day long, it’s only when she puts some money where her mouth is that counts.
Galt2009 on November 19, 2012 at 1:31 PM
Yes, she only regrets she posed for a widely reprinted propaganda photo. It doesn’t bother her that her comments to American POWs got them severely beaten. She doesn’t regret her radio speech to us GIs in the South that we were war criminals, we should refuse to fight and,
I was a 22 year old Marine there at the time and my biggest regret is that my M16 didn’t have enough range to hit her at several hundred kilometers.

LOL ToddPA. I, being the man of the house, have a urinal in the facities connected to my downstairs family room (otherwise known as the man cave). I do have a Jane Fonda target in said urinal.

Jane Fonda is a dirty whore.

Hayabusa on November 19, 2012 at 1:58 PM
Jane Fonda? Yeah, that was really dumb, what she did.
Too many people act like it was solely her fault that Vietnam was the clusterfark that it was, though. They use Jane Fonda to vent.
Moesart on November 19, 2012 at 2:07 PM
“I’ll go to my grave with that one.”
Yes, Jane. And then you really will “feel the burn.” (If you get my drift.)

Decades late…billion dollars short.
I remember back in the ’80′s, the Navy Exchange got the brilliant idea to stock Hanoi Jane’s exercise tapes. The only action they saw was the weekly dusting by the employees.
NavyMustang on November 19, 2012 at 2:22 PM
You get no sympathy from me you piece of garbage.
After sitting on that tank, your a$$ should have been sitting in a jail cell for treason…..just saying.

How would the NVA have gotten their gun back?
Aviator on November 19, 2012 at 2:32 PM
Yeah, but you married an average Joe, like Ted Turner, to make up for it.
princetrumpet on November 19, 2012 at 2:42 PM
Yeah, she’s regretting the repercussions not the act. She’s still a disloyal lowlife traitor. She should have been tried for treason along with Little Lord haw haw.
haw haw worked for jimmy carter.

I’m guessin’ that her terminal illness of liberalism has eaten away her insides and she has a limited number of days left on planet Earth cuz that’s the only reason idiots like her start regretting and apologizing.
stukinIL4now on November 19, 2012 at 3:25 PM
Took her this long to offer regret? Sorry lady, you suck and forever will.
FireBlogger on November 19, 2012 at 3:28 PM
Why didn’t she say this 40 years ago? If she’d renounced her actions then, maybe it would have done some good. Remember Not Fonda Jane bumper stickers?
