Amnesty is a nuclear bomb against conservatism. You are saying that if we nuke ourselves there won’t be a corpse to kick around because it will be evaporated.

Or we can just keep on doing what we are doing and hope for a different outcome.

Steyn documented the outcome of amnesty in his article. Racing towards a white minority doesn’t help Republicans. That should be freakin obvious even to the most dense.

My LEGAL immigrant wife just paid $686 to take the tests to become a citizen.

No waiver for us, because we did it the right way.

I forgot to mention that we also paid about $700 years ago just to get her into the country.

I should’ve had her climb over the wall. She would’ve been put through college free by now.

In a sane world M. Steyn would have a one hour show on Fox, alas.

In a sane world he would replace Hannity. But then Hannity does get stupidly high ratings so the world is clearly not sane.

I get that he is opposed to any kind of immigration reform…but he missed something. He brought up Reagan and how Reagan could not win in California today…that is true. However, even Reagan was not a hardliner on this issue. Even Reagan understood that there was a time for compromise. Of course, the Democrats suckered him and pretty much killed the desire for compromise among Republicans, but they do that all the time. They are doing that on the budget right now.
