Video: “I’m pretty certain that Mitt Romney french-kissed Obama”
During a speech at the Federalist society today, Senator-Elect Ted Cruz R-Texas explained that it was important for conservatives to campaign on big ideas.
Cruz cited Mitt Romney’s first debate against President Obama as an example, calling it “the one time we actually contested ideas.”
Cruz criticized the “mandarins” in politics who didn’t want Republicans to “rock the boat” or “show any contrast.”
“So by the third debate, I’m pretty certain that Mitt Romney french-kissed Obama,” Cruz said as the crowd laughed and applauded.

I’m pretty sure that “soundbites” get your name in the news but, damn it, when are Repubs going to concentrate on the issues facing the country now instead of trying to be the lead story on a website or MSM outlet? I’m sick of it.

I thought it was more of a peck on the cheek actually.

Hey..nothing important going on in the world right now…might as well navel gaze and theorize about junk and stuff eh?

French kiss. How outrageous. More crap from the circular firing squad as the world burns. We saw what happened after Romney gave his press conference on the Cairo Embassy statement. He was attacked from all quarters, even his own party. When he raised Benghazi at the second debate Romney was knifed in the back by Crowley. Did Cruz and his ilk rise up against Crowley and the media at that point?
Romney and Ryan worked their hearts out. They won the middle and would have won the election if the purists and bigots on the right had not stood down. Now we have this kind of predictably putrid puss on top of Obama.
Cruz is an undisciplined jerk playing to morons and the 2 month campaign-brokered convention advocate who supported him and didn’t run is certainly not the answer.

And, it’s funny.

Lots of vicious comments form the resident morons. If Hot Airians are representative of the party we would have conclusive proof that Romney is too decent for his own party.

Look out! Cruz will be the next on the “Bush Crime” family’s hit list. Got to eliminate everyone to make room for corrupt Jeb Bush lap dog Marco ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOObio who will do the Bush family’s dirty work and push through immigration reform.
Get a clue! The “Rockefeller wing” of the gopE is dead.
We aren’t voting for any more Big Government politicians disguised as conservatives who go and make nice with Obama. The gop will be the permanent minority party if they keep throwing Etch-a-sketchs at us.
This election proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that Tokyo Rove’s endorsement doesn’t mean snot!

Thst’s it. He was just too good for us. We didn’t deserve him.

Even Reagan had the sense to drop the “class”and tell the press to shut up. And that is what the American people like about Christie … he’s classless.
When the priggish in the republican party let lose their overwound springs, squeeze out a fart without caution and humor the candidate that couldn’t beat the worst presidential record in the history of the United States! … then we’ll be ready to inject class into the argument. Romney should have stayed on offense and called emperor Obama out for his Candy Crowley lie. But nooooo … Mr. “I agree with you” clobbered dear emperor with
poofy“classy” platitudes.kregg on November 17, 2012 at 9:18 AM
I was waiting for that. You crap on all the Social Conservatives here who also donated big bucks and worked their asses off to try to get him over the top. Real nice. Real delusional.

Well, I guess I have a different sense of humour than what some here are finding funny and pointed. Ted Cruz was a bit too ‘Bill Maher’ for me.
