“Her credentials didn’t add up… It was surprising to me that she was his official biographer.”
“I found her relationship with him to be disconcerting,” said a former aide to Petraeus, one of several who insisted on anonymity in order to speak candidly about his former boss. “Those who worked for him never tried to leverage our relationship with him. It seemed to a lot of us that she didn’t have that filter.”…
“She was relentlessly pro-Petraeus,” said a longtime Afghan policy expert who met Broadwell in Kabul. “There was no room for a conversation of shortcomings of the Petraeus theology. She wasn’t a reporter. She struck me as an acolyte.”…
There were other controversies as well. Former aides say Broadwell’s attire — usually tight shirts and pants — prompted complaints in Afghanistan, where Western-style attire can offend local sensibilities. Her form-fitting clothes made a lasting impression on longtime Afghan hands, and Petraeus once admonished her, through a staffer, to “dress down,” a former aide recalled.
“She was seemingly immune to the notion of modesty in this part of the world,” said a general who served in Afghanistan while Petraeus was commander there.

Whaddaya mean no credentials? She had her form 34-D notarized.

I don’t agree with this. She is ex West Point and military intelligence.

Perhaps she had mad skills in the intangibles.

CIA supposedly didn’t find out about this affair.
She left hardcopys of her threats in emails.
military “intelligence”?

Not very objective…
Imagine Iraq, Afghanistan, all at CIA since, Benghazi…
Obama, the buck stops with you.
With the new woman from FL the buck also stops with Hillary. To Hades with all of them.

Exactly what credentials does a wannabe biographer possess in order to be qualified? A series of books on others’ lives?
I especially love the density of the comment that she was all Petraeus and that she had no room for discussion of shortcomings of DP’s theology (an interesting choice of words in itself). She was not military, she was not CIA (as far as is known), she was just a civilian in a war zone. Why would she be privy to discussions about the commanding officer’s theology (read philosophy) anyway? Wouldn’t most of that be classified?
And what soldier would be openly challenging his CO to a reporter? Sounds to me like McChrystal wasn’t the only one over there with loose lips. Are any of those loose lips responsible for our guys getting whacked on base?
We need to get out now. For lots of reasons.

Interesting. If this started while Petraeus was still in Afghanistan, then he committed adultery on active duty, which is a federal crime under the UCMJ and which the military routinely prosecutes. If he is not now prosecuted, can we assume a quid pro quo (the ‘quo’ being, for instance, silence on Benghazi) of some sort?

She was reserve military.
She has top clearance.
On McCrystal – he recommended her to Petraeus, for writing the biography.
This clusterfark is very spagetti. Interesting times to come.
Obama owns it. Hillary does too. May both, plus Petraeus et all go to Hades. They all have blood on their hands and a rigged/deceiving election.
May they all get theirs, in a very, very, very bad way.
May the media, who covered it all up, be Fluked royally, not enjoyably.

Are all of our spies using gmail? We may want to look into that.

It can really kill a team’s motivation when everyone is making sacrifices but then the leader gives a free pass to some unqualified girl that he’s b0ning. I’ve seen it happen in the corporate world, often with bad consequences. Cheating with his wife was one thing but giving this groupie chick the access he did is just dumb.

I don’t know any other provider who offers two-factor authentication and host of other security features alongside virtually unlimited space, access with any client mobile and otherwise, 99.999 availability, etc. All of that for free and the main servers are all located here in the US (though not certain about that last one).
If any spy were to use a personal email not provided by government Gmail is one of the best options. That however should not include with DCIA title next to their name.

But she had never written a book. She’s obviously educated and knows the military….but that doesn’t make you a good writer.
