If our only approach to bank-robbing was to build stronger and stronger safes while not punishing the bank robbers, I expect that people would say safes have never worked and never will.

hmmm or the GOP embraces star power like Reagan and Palin had to get their message over the top of the media. I read an article back in 2010 that showed how much the free media Palin was drawing on a monthly basis. It came out to like 40-50million monthly in media coverage. That is what the GOp needs to win they can’t buy the election people tune out ads TV is a dying medium, radios are turned off when ads come on. No the gOP candidate must be able to keep the interest of the voters not relie on ad buys. But day to day have the voters tuned into their words and actions. Have them want ton listen to what you say. Give them hop of a better future. Make they buy into their love for country. the days of the same stump speech over and over are done. Politicans need to use the new media have a daily new speech new lines be fresh speak off the cuff. Make the people buy-in and give them skin in the game.

Carter got 56% of the hispanic vote in 1980.

Mondale got 66% of the hispanic vote in 1984.

Dukakis got 70% in 1988.

Clinton got 61% of the hispanic vote in 92 and 72% in 94.

Gore got 62% in 2000.

Kerry got 53% in 2004.

Obama got 67% in 2008.
