Ah, it must be someone in NASA then, working on making the Muslims feel good about things they used to do hundreds of years ago.

Part of me wonders why you’re even posing this question, particularly in a column that is printed in The New York Times.

Then another part of me wondered about the ethics of abetting whatever scheme this is part of by selecting your letter to print.

But when the Publisher says “Here’s a letter the White House wants printed to send a message to somebody”, well if you want to keep yor job, you print it, right?

The fact that you’re willing to accept your wife’s infidelity for some greater political good is beyond honorable. In fact, it’s so over-the-top honorable that I’m not sure I believe your motives are real. Part of me wonders why you’re even posing this question, particularly in a column that is printed in The New York Times.

If I were dictator of the world I would MANDATE that every married couple have at least one affair every five years so that everyone is FORCED to find some other bullsh!t reason to tear apart their family, separate their kids, and generally cause dramatic trauma over.

That is deeply disturbing. Betrayal by the one person you love above all others is horrible. My first husband did this and it was never the same. My second and last husband wouldn’t be able to conceive such a thing as betraying me. That’s worth more than any amount of money.

The idea that a woman can be RUINED for life by a man’s peni$ is just hilariously sad. Because of this belief – the entire female population is running scared of men lest they be “tainted” forever by the wrong one under the wrong circumstances. This notion belittles women – and it’s the kind of thing you’d expect in the Islamic world – certainly not what you’d expect in the Western World which has gone through the age of reason.
