Hmmmmmmm
Published: July 13, 2012…
My wife is having an affair with a government executive. His role is to manage a project whose progress is seen worldwide as a demonstration of American leadership. (This might seem hyperbolic, but it is not an exaggeration.) I have met with him on several occasions, and he has been gracious. (I doubt if he is aware of my knowledge.) I have watched the affair intensify over the last year, and I have also benefited from his generosity. He is engaged in work that I am passionate about and is absolutely the right person for the job. I strongly feel that exposing the affair will create a major distraction that would adversely impact the success of an important effort. My issue: Should I acknowledge this affair and finally force closure? Should I suffer in silence for the next year or two for a project I feel must succeed? Should I be “true to my heart” and walk away from the entire miserable situation and put the episode behind me? NAME WITHHELD

So now that King David has resigned does Executive Privilege adhere to him? Can he testify even if Obama exercises EP?

Curious, anyone know what “project” was so important a spineless pencil neck leftist would allow someone to bone his wife repeatedly for? That seems more relevant to me.

I shudder to think what the Bark Regime would consider a demonstration of American leadership. Most likely some kind of grand scheme to appease Muslims.

I think it’s kind of funny.
If I were dictator of the world I would MANDATE that every married couple have at least one affair every five years so that everyone is FORCED to find some other bullsh!t reason to tear apart their family, separate their kids, and generally cause dramatic trauma over.
It’s sex man – it’s not cancer research.
The idea that a woman can be RUINED for life by a man’s peni$ is just hilariously sad. Because of this belief – the entire female population is running scared of men lest they be “tainted” forever by the wrong one under the wrong circumstances. This notion belittles women – and it’s the kind of thing you’d expect in the Islamic world – certainly not what you’d expect in the Western World which has gone through the age of reason.

You missed the “Concept of Marriage” class didn’t you?
Or are you intentionally that retarded?

“Over-the-top honorable”? This is how DSK got away with molesting women for years. You people still amaze me.
But of course even if this guy’s “good work” was so great, you would still bring him down if he were a Republican (since Dems don’t have family values) no matter what damage might be done to this “wonderful cause.”
Pigs. They reveal themselves on a daily basis.
That is deeply disturbing. Betrayal by the one person you love above all others is horrible. My first husband did this and it was never the same. My second and last husband wouldn’t be able to conceive such a thing as betraying me. That’s worth more than any amount of money.

Nah, why would a liberal consider Petraeus’ work so grandiose?

Then another part of me wondered about the ethics of abetting whatever scheme this is part of by selecting your letter to print.
But when the Publisher says “Here’s a letter the White House wants printed to send a message to somebody”, well if you want to keep yor job, you print it, right?

Ah, it must be someone in NASA then, working on making the Muslims feel good about things they used to do hundreds of years ago.
