Elizabeth Warren’s post-victory presser doesn’t go so well
When she did respond, the answers were often brief.
How does she feel about the high female voter turnout and the election of women in New Hampshire?
“I’m glad,” she said.
Is it surprising?
“I’m glad that the women turned out to vote, it meant a lot,” said Warren.
Asked what impact more women in the Senate would have, Warren punted.
“You want to try answering that?” she said, turning to Patrick, who stepped in again.
Warren wasn’t much more forthcoming when asked about her guiding principles on the fiscal cliff.

I thought she was going to say, concerning the fiscal cliff, “GERONIMO!!!!!!!!!!

Who cares…the people of Mass got up on Tuesday, gulped down
a 32 oz jug of “I can out-Stupid you” and voted for her.
The end.

The IRONY.
the_nile on November 9, 2012 at 1:05 PM
this woman is really the closest we have to a communist in the US senate. she was unapologetic railing against big corporations. a true leftist populist.
nathor on November 9, 2012 at 1:05 PM
Whatever. Massachusetts has chosen communist native-American they wanted.
NotCoach on November 9, 2012 at 1:05 PM
Hey, at least she did a presser. Poor Barack was too tired.

They wanted her, they got her. Have fun, morons.
kim roy on November 9, 2012 at 1:11 PM
She won.
Move on.
albill on November 9, 2012 at 1:11 PM
How much of a tomahawk are we talking? Because if my count is right she can only use 1/32 of one.
Hopefully it was the pointy part.
Gatsu on November 9, 2012 at 1:13 PM
Hey at least we have Warren and Grayson to kick around the next few years. So, there’s that.

Questioning her is silly. She has no idea, she simply waiting to be told how to vote.

Cut her a break, everybody knows that Native Americans have difficulty with the English language and are naturally reserved in conversation.

But hey, Scott Brown is a dirty RINO or something!!!!1!
MikeknaJ on November 9, 2012 at 1:18 PM
How is it that she’s incapable of answering softballs like that after going through a campaign, taking part in debates, etc? I don’t get it. She’s already won, so it won’t matter what she says. And it’s not like MA will care anyway…you can leave a woman to drown and they’ll still elect you.
changer1701 on November 9, 2012 at 1:18 PM
Give the poor woman a chance. She might wind up being a good senator. Might even switch parties like Ben Nighthorse Campbell did.

MA Voter checking in…
Voted for Brown. Brown needed 1 of 4 Obama voters. Too much to overcome. Now we got Liawatha as our rep. Dont worry, we also sent a Kenedy back to congress and a guy whose wife and all her brothers have been in prison or are fugatives. Busness as usual at Moonbat Central.
At least Harvard doesnt have to Ward Churchill Lyin Lizzy’s arse….
Rich on November 9, 2012 at 1:32 PM
Well, she’s got that one right, if by “extraordinary” she means lacking either the brains or the spine of Neville Chamberlain. Vlad Putin is probably going to start attending church as he watches the miracle of his most dangerous worldwide adversary devolving into something as intimidating as a tee-ball team.

Enjoy your time in the senate, Ma’am.

maybe, but she is not as high profile as warren. but I bet the 2 will get along very well.
nathor on November 9, 2012 at 1:49 PM
I’m not sure she had the right equipment.
Washington Nearsider on November 9, 2012 at 1:53 PM
We’re surprised by this, why? She’s a complete moron with no credentials other than her alleged ivy-league staff card. How in the hell these people get their jobs is beyond me. I have two degrees, a bachelor’s and juris doctor and am deemed “over qualified” to be employed by the government in any position but that of attorney. Guess what, they don’t have many of those jobs available. And, yet, idiots like this broad (I can say it, I’m a womyn, too) get millions of dollars fleecing the public because they have connections to or are in public leadership positions. I’m sick of it.
totherightofthem on November 9, 2012 at 1:55 PM
I actually like having Ms. Warren around, if for no other reason than she inspires some of the funniest snarky names I have ever heard, for any political figure.
Amazingly, I hadn’t come across “Liawatha” until this late in the game.
The Schaef on November 9, 2012 at 2:12 PM
In all seriousness, it makes you wonder if she’s in the early stages of . . . something.
NebCon on November 9, 2012 at 2:17 PM
Which means her poll approval numbers will go up now.
Moesart on November 9, 2012 at 2:17 PM
I can’t think of anyone in the Senate to the left of Warren, and there are a lot of rabid leftists to consider.
As another poster said, she is the closest thing we have to a full-bore communist (aside from Barky the Unicorn Whisperer).
McCarthy vindicated.
2nd look at the validity of the Red Scare, so called by leftists.

She didn’t build that. But she will sure as hell destroy an industry.

First one that came to my mind, too.
(Also, IIRC, he won with somewhere around 60% of the VT vote. Too lazy to look it up–sorry.)

Was she breast-feeding someone’s baby at the podium?
pain train on November 9, 2012 at 3:07 PM
Ha! That was very good.
It doesn’t matter what Warren does. In response to a question, she could pull down her pants, crap on her hand and smear “Duh” on the wall, and the media will protect her, her fellow Democrats will support her, and the people of Massachusetts will still vote for her time and time again.
Why is this so? Don’t ask me. I am a stranger in a strange land at this point.
Everything that seems up is down, and everything that seems down is up.
justltl on November 9, 2012 at 3:12 PM
Wrong.
Now is the time to double down.
Do you think the Dems would let up? NO.
They make a joke of/make fun of elected Repubs.
Then that joke becomes the meme.
We haven’t learned anything.

I, for one, am extremely proud to welcome our first Native American member to the Senate. A good first step to overcoming the shameful legacy of the past.
