We can rebuild him. We have the technology.
And 0bamacare will cover the six million dollar tab.

Nice, but only the rich like Nancy Pelosi (109 million dollars) and Harry Reid (5 million dollars) will be able to afford this kind of medical treatment.

…but only if the politically-appointed Obamacare Death Panel feels that you’re “worth it”!!!

They need to make one for liberal amputees that allows them to stick the thumb up their own azs.

PS – Development of this sort of device in the USA is likely to come to a screeching HALT, due to the new taxes and annual fees which Obamacare levies on medical device manufacturers.
This is only ONE of the totally insane perversions in Obamacare.
landlines on November 8, 2012 at 5:31 PM
True. Obamacare taxes the GROSS earnings of medical device manufacturers, not the NET. That means that the Lord Master gets his cut right off the top before R&D, factory rental, salaries, etc. This will kill the margin and profitability, drying up investors.

ZOMG!! How could that be? Socialist healthcare would never allow that. This must be all lies, that website is fake, so is the video, Romney won the election and we’re starting 1000 years of darkness.

6 million?
It used to come with bionic eyes and legs! Inflation sucks.
maynila on November 8, 2012 at 6:35 PM
zomg…
I wonder, where do you think the largest market is for any medical device or pharmaceutical company in the world? Where do they make the dollars they need to support research like this? North Korea?
NotCoach on November 8, 2012 at 6:37 PM
Not here. Nobody can afford it or the premiums that could cover it (well except Sheldon and pals). And prices remain high.
In the UK on the other hand NHS has approved it, so everyone who needs one gets one. Government over there has created a massive market for it, where as private profiteers here don’t give two sh1ts if a bunch of poor people have no arms.
This is exactly the reason healthcare should be government’s role.
