Pentagon: Iran fired on U.S. drone in Persian Gulf — seven days ago

Gee, I wonder what made them wait until today to tell us this.

What else has the press been hiding from us during the election?
JPeterman on November 8, 2012 at 2:29 PM
No worries, we have the Barack Obama Jedi Mind Defense Shield.

Seal Team Six must have sucked.
Mord on November 8, 2012 at 2:30 PM
Oh snap, people were saying that the Navy Seal who killed Bin Laden was killed on election night, was that true?
El_Terrible on November 8, 2012 at 2:32 PM
We will never know…

Can you say Gulf of Tonken?
MoreLiberty on November 8, 2012 at 2:39 PM
Obama would have told us earlier, but he needed to conduct a full investigation to ascertain all of the facts first. Wouldn’t want to shoot first and aim later.

An unmanned spy plane being shot at = GoT? I’m sorry, but no.
MelonCollie on November 8, 2012 at 2:48 PM
We joke about this kind of stuff, but the (D)s don’t care. Seriously. It’s the same mentality that ignores a child molester because he’s a good football coach.
They won. That’s all that matters.
rogerb on November 8, 2012 at 2:51 PM
It’s about making up excuses for more war and more wasteful spending.

Blame the pentagon – they just announced this today.
HondaV65 on November 8, 2012 at 3:28 PM
The Iranians are already working on a “Laser Shark Jumping” device.
HondaV65 on November 8, 2012 at 3:29 PM
They are testing us. They believe we are weaker now than we have ever been.
When we allow our Ambassador and three other Americans to die in Libya, and do nothing in response but apologize for a video, it projects weakness and a desire for appeasement.

CBS advised the White House hold off and not tell people until after the election.

Has Obama apologized yet?
Axion on November 8, 2012 at 3:56 PM
That makes no sense at all. If a real attack from Iran came, little Bammie would be more likely to hide it.
slickwillie2001 on November 8, 2012 at 4:25 PM
Acts of war.
Credit downgrades.
Changes in Middle East policy.
Thank God this is all coming out AFTER the election!
OxyCon on November 8, 2012 at 5:47 PM
Funny, in the Pentagon PC I just saw on Fox News, they called the site of the attack the ‘Arabian Gulf’. Don’t know if it was the same PC referred to in this article.
I can’t see little Bammie wanting to tweak the Iranians, so it was probably a mistake.
