Today’s the last chance to stop ObamaCare
But unless voters defeat Obama on Tuesday, they’ll never get rid of his disastrous “reform.” Even before ObamaCare takes full effect, its damage is evident.
Insurance premiums, which Obama promised to slash $2,500 by the end of his first term, have climbed 14% since the law went into effect. Nearly six in 10 doctors say ObamaCare has made them less positive about the future of health care in America, and almost two-thirds say they’d retire today if they could, according to a Physicians Foundation survey.
Businesses are holding back on hiring, or are shifting workers to part time because of ObamaCare’s looming coverage mandate. Darden Restaurants, for example, has stopped offering full-time schedules at several of its popular eateries “to help us address the cost implications of health care reform.”
This is only one of the horrors ObamaCare will unleash if fully implemented in 2014.

“Repeal and replace” Great…can’t wait. There is nothing like repackaging a turd in Republican wrapping and listen to other statists try and tell you it’s not poo.
MoreLiberty on November 6, 2012 at 2:06 PM
But…. but…. how can that be?
0bama had a bunch of “doctors” standing with him in the Rose Garden back in 2009 wearing those nifty white lab coats and stethoscopes around their necks for a photo op. So I figured doctors overwhelmingly supported 0bamacare!
There must me some mistake.

LOL…wasn’t that the Rose garden charade where one of those women wasn’t even an MD, just some political hack with a white coat.
MoreLiberty on November 6, 2012 at 2:09 PM
One hears less and less about it.
Celebrate tonight, but begin the work/fight a few hours later. No time for rest, none.
Schadenfreude on November 6, 2012 at 2:10 PM
I either hadn’t heard about that, or I forgot that story.
But it wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

Wasn’t the rose garden but still a DNC event.

Replacing evil or bad law always worries me.
AH_C on November 6, 2012 at 2:16 PM
And replace it with Romneycare? No thanks!
Today is the last chance to stop Robamneycare, please vote for Gary Johnson and make America a good country again. Obama/Romney are wrong, the government is the problem, not the solution. That is why Romney rigged the vote during the National Republican Convention that neuters the grassroots and would have squashed Reagan’s bid to be President.
FloatingRock on November 6, 2012 at 2:18 PM
…Romney rigged the vote to shut out Reagan because Reagan and the grassroots think/thought that government is the problem whereas the crooks at the top of the GOP think that government is the “solution”, so they rigged the vote so that the grass roots could never challenge the powerful elite ever again.
FloatingRock on November 6, 2012 at 2:22 PM
No there is still another chance…
Unfortunately it will require words, concepts and deeds that haven’t been allowed here at HotAir since MM sold it.
LegendHasIt on November 6, 2012 at 2:24 PM
In FL we had an state constitutional amendment on the ballot that is essentially a NO to ObamaCare. There’s another one that denies public funding of abortion.
INC on November 6, 2012 at 2:29 PM
Apt metaphor for Obama’s 4 years. “I’m not a leader, but I play one on TV”.
Paul-Cincy on November 6, 2012 at 2:30 PM
Now I remember.
IIRC, Sheila Jackson Lee claimed not to know the woman, but there was some proof that they had worked together before or something.
UltimateBob on November 6, 2012 at 2:32 PM
Not just obozocare, but also the appointment of probably TWO Supreme Court Justices.
This election is incredibly important folks – Romney wasn’t my first choice, but he’s certainly better than Obozo – for several important reasons.
KMC1 on November 6, 2012 at 2:34 PM
Correct. This is extremely important.
Especially since it looks like we’ll be stuck with Roberts for a long time.
UltimateBob on November 6, 2012 at 2:41 PM
Repeal ObamaCare?
The people who SAY they would do it NEVER say “repeal”.
They say … “repeal and replace” … which NECESSARILY means that whatever Congress passes and the President signs will be …
NATIONALIZED
CENTRALLY PLANNED
HEALTHCARE

BOOM!!!!!!!!!
MoreLiberty on November 6, 2012 at 2:48 PM
Stop it. Just stop it. The two parties actually in contention are sort of busy right now.
JRCash on November 6, 2012 at 2:53 PM
OCare fully implemented will fundamentally transform America by destroying it. Eventually once the damage is done it will simply explode as it is not a viable or sustainable system.
However, what if a significant number of states simply refuse to play ball? I don’t think it would come to the dreaded R word or Rick Perry’s S word but it would be an interesting scenario.
CorporatePiggy on November 6, 2012 at 2:56 PM
Either way, I’m ready for both.

The choice you are pushing has as much relevance as the choice FloatingRock is pushing and as much long term impact.
Obama, Romney, or Gary Johnson has the same meaning as choosing Huey, Dewey, or Louie.
sharrukin on November 6, 2012 at 3:06 PM
Methinks you are a bit ‘quacked’, but I can’t entirely disagree…
MelonCollie on November 6, 2012 at 3:11 PM

sharrukin on November 6, 2012 at 3:06 PM
Heh.
Would like nothing better than to be proven wrong but I don’t think that’s going to happen.
sharrukin on November 6, 2012 at 3:16 PM
Keep peddling the lie. The only way to stop Obamacare is for the states to invoke their right of nullification.
Dante on November 6, 2012 at 3:19 PM
Stop ObamaCare by voting for the guy who created its predecessor. Good luck with that.
I just got back from the polls after proudly voting for Gary Johnson.
Armin Tamzarian on November 6, 2012 at 3:19 PM
Let’s see he if he can reach that magical 1% of the vote.
CorporatePiggy on November 6, 2012 at 3:22 PM
Reagan?
Dante on November 6, 2012 at 3:23 PM
SinkingStone being his usual factless, tactless self.
MelonCollie on November 6, 2012 at 3:25 PM
Just “repeal” it.
Let the free market run.
No matter what happens I already cannot afford any contingency.
BTW Alabama had a statewide amendment that no one can be fined or prosecuted for NOT participating in Obamacare.

Ghostery found 62 bots, trackers, widgets and other assorted crap on Hot Air main pages and Story pages.
Gee, you guys! Don’t you think that it is really outrageous to try to slam all this stuff onto our computers? How about only one or two?
