Who’s the candidate of the rich? It’s not even close
Nationwide, Obama is leading among six-figure earners 50-45, according to Rasmussen. Four years ago, Obama won $150k-plus earners by two points, because he won $200k+ voters by 6 points, according to exit polls.

I wouldn’t consider 100k or even 200k to be rich. Rich seems to be more like $1,000,000. Unless you spend money like Elton John, in which case you’re just a high-income broke person.

Rich people don’t worry about tyrants skimming off a few extra bucks for themselves. Us paeons worry about the government getting that money instead of us, though.

It’s MY money, not the government’s.
To argue otherwise is to suggest we are property of the government, and not the other way around.

I would not vote for Obama if I was living off of radishes, drain water and the last chicken left.
Again I would not vote for him if I was running my own foundation while sitting on the back of my Trumpy with a G&T in hand…

I have to admit that I’m clueless when it comes to the rich supporting tyrants and dictators. Not that I’m saying BO is a dictator or anything like that. I mean, all the other presidents bypassed Congress with EOs and recess appointments when Congress was in session. It’s what they all do.

Who’s the candidate of the dumb? Its not even close.

Obviously, Romney is the candidate of business and the under-employed and the unemployed.

Many of the well-off see how larger government can benefit THEM…look at Fisker, Solyndra, for that matter T Boone Pickens, Soros, even Buffett. Obama and Progressives can make them rich, or erect barriers to entry that allow them a walled off market and increased profits.
Others, such as professors and lawyers, live in a special world…now that sheltered world may be about to be severely buffeted, but again larger government helps them.
Bottom-Line: follow the money/power….

How about the bitter and over-thought…the “smart” equivalent of “dumb,” because I’d put Floating Rock, and Honda and Dante into that category and they all like Gary Johnson…
Bottom-Line: it ain’t clear to me who represents the “dumb” in this election.
JFKY on November 5, 2012 at 7:04 PM
Anyone who votes for the worst president ever is clearly “dumb”. Obama hasn’t had one positive accomplishment in four years. Every decision and mandate of his has been an anchor on the USS America.
If you crave more of it, you’re a freakin moron.
You’re also known as Obama’s base.
fogw on November 5, 2012 at 7:19 PM
Exactly. It’s a small price to pay for the Democrats working to prevent anyone else from ever contesting their positions at the top.
malclave on November 5, 2012 at 7:25 PM
The fact is a daddy-government will never have enough money. The category of “The Rich” will forever need to be adjusted downward, until we all live in slavery.

Not all of us, Comrades of proven worth will be able to prosper, and justly so.
JFKY on November 5, 2012 at 7:52 PM
Because the mega-rich can afford accountants & lawyers to get them the best tax dodges & to decipher the reams of regulations on their businesses.
They know small businesses can’t afford the accountants & lawyers. Corporate CEOs like having that advantage.
Biggest example: ObamaCare.
Maybe that’s how GE paid almost no corporate income taxes in a recent year, despite $billions in profits.

It’s just anecdotal, but I have noticed that most Obama bumperstickers are on affluent cars (Lexus, Mercedes, etc), while Romney stickers are on more mid-priced cars.
