Massachusetts: Scott Brown 49, Elizabeth Warren 48
The UMass-Lowell/Boston Herald poll showed Brown leading Warren among likely voters 49 percent to 48 percent. Warren has held a lead outside the margin of error in four of the seven polls released in the past week. The pair were tied in a Boston Globe poll, and a poll released by a GOP firm showed Brown with a slight edge.
The last Herald poll, conducted in September, showed Brown with a 4-point edge, indicating movement in Warren’s direction.
While other polls have shown Brown’s favorability slipping, he remains strong here: 54 percent of Bay Staters have a positive opinion of him.

RINO v. Commie. Hmm.

We need the majority. Go RINO.
Darksean on November 5, 2012 at 2:03 PM
In a sane world she’d be on the heap of magots.

Warren is another name for rabbit hole. Don’t go down the rabbit hole.

Dana Loesch as Elizabeth Warren

I know MassachusettEs has 3 times as many Dems as Republicans, but they’ve gotta have at least some standards. I really hope Brown pulls this out. If he does, 50+ Senate seats for the GOP seems almost assured.
Doughboy on November 5, 2012 at 2:12 PM
Yea, I don’t have too much hope Brown pulls this thing out.. check out the trend on RCP.
Not pretty, but then, what do you expect out of the People’s Republic of Marxachusetts…

We need Brown. She’s an outright commie and tbh it’s amazing Brown even has a shot in a world where Maxine Waters, Senator Ma’am, and DWS consistently beat people are neither insane or communist.
CorporatePiggy on November 5, 2012 at 2:18 PM
Don’t forget that all of the polls had Coakley beating him by a lot the first time around. The polls are closer this time.
emz35 on November 5, 2012 at 2:24 PM
I’ll be very surprised but very happy if Scott Brown can pull through.
bayview on November 5, 2012 at 2:24 PM
I will be satisfied if Romney wins and Scott Brown is the 51st vote to repeal Obamacare.
(I suppose I would also be satisfied if Paul Ryan is the 51st vote.)

Stay on target… STAY ON TARGET…

In Massachusetts, you support Scott Brown. That’s it. Sure he’ll vote a few times in ways you don’t like, but guess what? Fauxahontas is going to vote EVERY time in ways you don’t like.
Purity is for red states. Get what you can take in a place like MA.

You’re right about that. I tend to feel like the best indication, since polls are skewed, is the overall trend over time. Presumably, each individual poll is skewed in a roughly similar way each time, so while the topline numbers may be off, generally they still pick up on preference trends. That’s more why I’m worried about it than the overall numbers not looking great.
thirtyandseven on November 5, 2012 at 2:29 PM
Yeah, don’t get me wrong, I’m worried but I still think he’ll pull it out.
Interesting side note – I was in NH this weekend and actually saw a few Brown signs up there.

So the name Edward Moore Kennedy means nothing to you, does it?
JohnGalt23 on November 5, 2012 at 2:35 PM
Correcting myself here. All of the polls had her up, until the very end, when they showed Brown up. I think I just burst my own bubble.
emz35 on November 5, 2012 at 2:39 PM
Praying this poll is right. Aside from the White House, I don’t want a single race to go our way more badly than I want this one.
LukeinNE on November 5, 2012 at 2:52 PM
Yup. No matter how squishy Brown is, Warren is to the left of just about everyone in Congress with the possible exception of the one admitted socialist.
emz35 on November 5, 2012 at 3:04 PM
The fact of the matter here is that if it were not for the diligent reporting on Warren’s legal and ethical fraud by Professor Jacobson at Legal Insurrection and the exposure of Warren’s Ethnic Fraud by Twila Barnes at Pollys Granddaughter, Warren would be walking away with this race. That she is even polling in the double digits is really disturbing.

I hope Brown wins, but I was kind of looking forward to sending a letter of congratulation to the Cherokee Nation on electing an American Indian to the Senate.
Wigglesworth on November 5, 2012 at 3:11 PM
I hope Brown wins this…for no other reason than to piss off the lefties in a state that actually supported liberty at one time.
MoreLiberty on November 5, 2012 at 3:20 PM
Brown can be a RINO, but he’s our RINO.
BuckeyeSam on November 5, 2012 at 3:24 PM
You have no idea how sad this state makes me, especially when I visit places like Lexington or Concord.
emz35 on November 5, 2012 at 3:26 PM
I do and I’m truly ashamed that my fellow residents would even consider a scum bag like Warren. I’m also really sick of her robo calls which I get a half dozen a night. I’m also sick of the grinning idiots with all the signs I have to look at in the intersection down the street from where I work.
