Good, maybe it cleared the brain fog/fart she has had for four plus years. She probably sees the winds of change coming and this time its not Obama’s noxious ill wind.

This time she gets it right. There IS something going on in America that the poll numbers can’t capture.

Actually, that phrase is from the poem “High Flight” by John Magee. But, you are right….it’s a beautiful phrase and Peggy incorporated it perfectly in that beautiful speech.

Peggy Noonan can be inspiring or infuriating–sometimes both at the same time. But her WSJ blog post today on a likely Romney win is a thing of beauty.

I just read it and it sounded like the old Peggy Noonan, not the one that slobbered all over Obama in 2008. IIRC, she wrote the famous Challenger speach which gave us …and slipped the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God. Those words still give me chills.
