“I probably just, you know, got into big trouble with what I just said”
Code Pink, a liberal anti-war organization known for disrupting Republican and conservative public events, uploaded a video of the meeting to an Internet video sharing website on Oct. 5.
“I looked at the numbers today before I came here, and I saw a number of civilian casualties — officially U.S. government classified information,” Hoagland said at the meeting. “Since July 2008 it is in the two-figures. I can’t vouch for you that that’s accurate, in any way, so I can’t talk about the numbers. Alright. I wanted to see what we have on the internal record. [It's] quite low.”

LOL! Code pinko carries more weight than a 911 call from the field.
abobo on November 5, 2012 at 6:23 PM
Why didn’t he call out a drone strike on Code Pink?
No, instead, he met with them, and gave them classified information.
This is your government on Obama.
Zombie on November 5, 2012 at 6:24 PM
You assume there is any dividing line between Code Pink and the Obama Administration. Wouldn’t be surprised if everyone in the room just gets retroactive clearance.
JeremiahJohnson on November 5, 2012 at 6:27 PM
Code Pink definitely gets more info from this administration than the parents of dead SEALs. Brutal comment but true. Sorry. Second, how the f@ck do they command an audience with an Ambassador?
Sorry Ambassador Hoagland, but President Romney will not be requiring you to stay on.
The adults are in charge for one more day.

At this rate, I won’t be surprised to see M1 Abrams rolling down Pennsylvania Avenue.
The military is only going to stay loyal to the current power structure to a point, and its pretty obvious even to me that communists being given this level of access is not a good thing.

For who?
Dusty on November 5, 2012 at 6:52 PM
Last I heard, it’s illegal to give out classified information.

If this was a Republican Administration the media outcry would be non-stop 24/7.
Now, not so much.
24 hours until the polls start closing.
D-fusit on November 5, 2012 at 6:59 PM
So your answer would be the ambassador if you bothered to answer the question.
Dusty on November 5, 2012 at 7:04 PM
No worries, Mr. Hoagland. The media’s got your back.
Splashman on November 5, 2012 at 7:11 PM
Wow! Read to the end of the end of the article in the comments section.
One Steven Chavez has a damn good reply to this expose.
Please go there and read it. Now. Please.

Good. I hope no commenter is criticizing or attacking Hoagland. We need to know that our government is murdering people, and how and why, and it needs to stop.
Dante on November 5, 2012 at 8:10 PM
Releasing classified information to the public without a need to know and without a security clearance can result in felony charges and often results in loss of your security clearance…at least for those of us who are accountable for our actions.
