Here come the ObamaCare regulations
The once-steady stream of regulations and rules from the Obama administration — instructions for insurance companies, hospitals and states on how to put the law in place — has slowed to a trickle in recent months in an attempt to avoid controversies before the election. Many states, too, have done little public work to avoid making the law an election issue for state officials on the ballot.
But work has been going on behind the scenes — both in the Department of Health and Human Services and at the state level. As soon as Wednesday, the gears and levers of government bureaucracy are likely to start moving at full speed again.
HHS is expected to begin to release the backlog of regulations. And the states will quickly face a Nov. 16 deadline to tell the Obama administration whether they’ll implement a health insurance exchange — a key part of the law about where consumers will purchase health insurance after 2014.
If Obama wins, that work is likely to continue through the early years of his second term. Democrats will want the law put in place as quickly as possible. They face a late 2013 deadline to have the exchanges ready to go.

I hope every state rejects the regulations and simply ignores the federal government. This law is not binding. Whether the USSC found it constitutional or not is irrelevant, the law itself is not binding to anyone of conscience and should be completely ignored.
Ultimately, if 150M people choose to disobey the law, it does not matter what the law is, it is unenforceable.
Moreover, if Obama is elected, I hope that all conservatives with businesses who are able will layoff their entire staff and take a 4 year sabbatical. Businesses would be smarter shutting down and holding their money in gold/foreign markets than risking their energy, time and resources to support a rogue US Govt.

And this impending sea of government-centered O’Care regulations will push Gramma and everyone else in her family off the cliff. We’ll all be pounding the rocks if Obarky wins.

Slainte – Grammy only goes over the cliff if we of conscience do not stand up and do the right thing regardless of the law. Many Doctors, I hope will see this and – because they are Doctors and wish to help save people – join in the movement to destroy and undermine this immoral action of rogue government.

“Hey, let’s fix the over-regulated health insurance and distorted health care market (caused by government) with more over-regulation, more market distortions, and more diktats from unelected, nameless, faceless bureaucrats!” -Average Dem voter

I’ve basically already done that as much as possible the past 4 years. I only do as much work as I can handle personally, and with the numbers of unemployed out there it’s fairly easy to bring in help from time to time to fill in what I can’t do on a temporary basis.
I once had 70 employees, two shifts, and now even by myself I make nearly as much (personally) as I did 10 years ago with all the employees, but spend 2/3 the time I used to at work.

I read weeks ago that these clowns screwed up the drafting of the legislation. Taxpayers who purchase insurance through the exchanges created by their states are entitled to very generous tax credits. But if the states don’t create the exchanges and the feds do it instead, the credits aren’t available. Thirty GOP states aren’t creating those exchanges, creating an inequity that could bring the system to its knees.
So much for passing it to find out what’s in it.
