What could go wrong?
The working title is “Rush,” Cusack’s New Crime Productions confirmed, offering no other details.
Hollywood director Betty Thomas, who’s set to work on the film, said the production company is putting finishing touches on a script that will star the actor. Production is set for next year, Thomas said.

I want my 2 dollars, Cusack….

The only thing that can go wrong with a movie is for it to bomb. If Cusack and Thomas do the movie in good taste and reasonably based in either reality or parody, everything will be fine.

If wrong is straight to the WalMart DVD value bin, that’s not only what it could, but what it will do.

And Rush’s audience will triple.

Of course Cusack is a liberal, he’s been riding on other people’s coattails his whole life. Any movie he’s ever been in that was any good was good in spite of him.

I love Rush but I have zero interest in watching a movie about him.

Is Cusack going to play Geddy Lee?
Mark1971 on November 4, 2012 at 7:48 PM
No mention of who’s playing Bo Snerdley?
Racist!

All that Rush has to do is to ignore it…..he’ll pwn a pissant like John “Who” Cusack
ted c on November 4, 2012 at 7:50 PM
They already did a movie called Rush.
Gregg Allman was awesome…

Regardless of the film’s bias, it will be taken as gospel by libtards.

He’s definitely no Neil Peart.

Big backfire comin’. These idiots live on another planet. If their brains suddenly started to function, the shock would probably kill them.
Mimzey on November 4, 2012 at 7:52 PM
This will go over like that Oliver Stone “W” movie. Remember that? Neither does anybody else.
Mark1971 on November 4, 2012 at 7:52 PM
The great thing about the movie is that the camera doesn’t move once for two hours.
Dextrous on November 4, 2012 at 7:53 PM
Was that the one with Will Ferrell?

Actually, it’s quite funny, my brother (a liberal) hated George W. Bush before seeing that movie. After watching it, he said that he had no idea all the stuff that W had to deal with. He still doesn’t care for W, but doesn’t hate him now either. So, progress.

Portly? Balding? Describing an institution like El Rushbo like that is a sacrilege,
Herb on November 4, 2012 at 8:09 PM
I’m willing to bet it will be at least as successful as the TV show based on Rush starring Henry Winkler was.
Don’t remember that one? Neither does anyone else.

Rush just eats this liberal shite up…all the way to the bank…relevant.

I loved Better Off Dead. Grosse Point Blank good. Since then, JC has been off my radar. Not surprised, though.

I tried to watch his latest, “Savages” last night. I made it through about 15-20 minutes. Don’t bother.

As I recall, Harry Reid tried to condemn Rush from the Senate floor and Rush turned it into a gigantic win for charity, a significant putdown of Reid which is still on 24/7 today and an increase in audience.
Then Sandra Fluke tried to get her 10 minutes of fame and get sponsors outraged at Rush for telling the truth in a humourous way, the sponsors who left lost out and those who stayed with Rush profited and Rush gained an increase in audience.
Now a liberal actor is going to make a movie about Rush. Hmmm…wonder how Rush will get the last laugh from that? I suspect it will be very entertaining to watch how Rush does it and, of course, it will increase his audience. 50 million or bust!

Only if you’re paralyzed by vanity. The man is portly and balding. I doubt he would deny that.
His mind is like a tungsten circular-saw blade. It rips everything in its way to shreds and never turns back. His weight and hairline are unimportant.
His brain is the real prize.
