Props are typically inanimate objects, and Obama is certainly an inanimate thinker; and inanimate objects are typically cold; and Obama is always the coldest fish in any room; and revenge is a dish best served cold…I get it now!

Actually, props usually serve some function. The hold open doors and such. What exactly is it that you’re good at, Chauncey? Openin’ doors? Fetchin’ coffee? At least, that’s what Bill says that you can do.

You can bet that O also feels like just a prop in his own administration. Axelrod and Jarret run the show, and those two in turn leave most things to congress (as Obamacare etc).
One glaring distinction is that Romney will not be a prop in his admin. You can tell that. That’s the difference between leading, and being led. O admits now he doesn’t “lead from behind,” no, he doesn’t lead at all, he is little more than a prop, the quintessential empty suit.
