Why did we abandon the Benghazi compound?
This raises obvious questions as to whether these concerns were communicated to State Department superiors and Africa Command; and if they were, why wasn’t more done in response?
The larger question that is raised here is why the U.S. has abandoned this diplomatic outpost, so that anyone–whether reporters or civilians, friends or foes of the United States–can rummage through its rubble. The jihadists who attacked our consulate were surely hoping to drive us out of Benghazi, and they have now accomplished this purpose. I am at a loss to know why marines were not sent to secure the site of the compound and why efforts have not been made to rebuild. This is yet another failure that gives the people of the Middle East an impression of American retreat.

You can’t see what needs to be done if you have your head buried in the sand (or elsewhere) and telling the rest of America to join you.
I CANNOT wait for Tuesday.

This is part of a super-delicious false-information operation on the scale of Operation Mincemeat from WWII.
We’ve left vital, but fake, information concerning our plans to invade the Muslim world (and kill all of them) on the floor of the consulate just waiting to be picked up and delivered to the Muslim HQ.
This operation is intended to provide cover while the Obama caliphate seizes complete control of the US, and makes plans to present the USA, or what remains of it, as a gift to Allah.
Axlerod – Genius.

Max Boot, of course, fails to mention anything about his buddy CIA Director Petraeus. Why doesn’t he have something … anything … to say about this -
Fox News: “Yet a congressional source told Fox News that CIA Director David Petraeus, during a briefing with members of the House Intelligence Committee three days after the attack, also espoused the view that Benghazi was an out-of-control demonstration prompted by the YouTube video. According to the source, this was “shocking” to some members who were present and saw the same intelligence pointing toward a terrorist attack.”

a) because there is no such thing as radical Islam
b) because there is no such thing as jihad
c) because this was merely a “work place violence” incident
d) all of the above

I don’t know how anyone serving our country can feel safe with the snakes we have in charge right now.
Everyone is expendable if dear leader’s public image is at risk.

Thanks! That is new to me, and it’s certainly significant. He’s not going to do anything except try to exonerate Hillary, Obama, etc.

Shorter Pickering:
“I’m tellin’ ya, those Muslims are serious about what they say, and they’ll kill everyone of us. Since I’m a professional coward, my advice is to pretend Islam is friendly and peaceful, and at the same time get rid of those rubes who keep mouthing off about the violence inherent in Islam….if we don’t, they’ll get us all killed.’

From Doug Ross:
TWIN TIMELINE: What was happening in Benghazi and Washington
It looks like Ross did an Excel spreadsheet on this. You should look at it. I was searching for something like this yesterday.

Dems said Bush abandoned New Orleans “cuz he don’t like black people.”
Using their logic, Obama abandoned Benghazi ‘cuz he don’t like white people or something.

Why?
Because muslim-sleeper-agent obama lost interest once he had fulfilled his mission of allowing the embassy to be trashed and burned, and allowing four Americans to be raped and slaughtered as he and his cabal fist-bumped and high-fived while the events played out via live-feed in the White House situation room?

Has this email – or anything like it – written by Stevens – been found yet? I don’t think so.
What we have is him kind of saying … “Well things are trending negative here and I’m worried”. However, that’s really not the kind of stand-up, bold, positive statement that a real leader, in charge of many lives, is supposed to make.
We called it in the Navy … “forceful backup” … and that is, an officer has a duty to express his concerns boldly to his superior(s) when he has them. And – he needs to offer clear options to his leaders for a solution.
This does not seem to have been the case with Stevens.
Doesn’t excuse Petraus, Clinton, and Obama – but I do think it’s worth mentioning that, at this point, it seems Stevens wasn’t the kind of forceful leader that this consulate in Benghazi needed at a very critical moment.
