“Revenge” for what, Mr. President?
If you watch the clip itself, it’s not clear at all what Obama’s supporters are supposed to want revenge for. Obama mentions Romney name in the context of his run for the senate in Massachusetts — back when Romney was quite the moderate — and the audience starts to boo. Obama says “no, no. Don’t boo. Vote. Vote. Voting is the best revenge.” Revenge for what? Him running for the senate? Revenge for Romney daring to challenge Obama? I understand Obama is bitter. That’s been obvious for a while. But it’s just a weird and narcissistic assumption that his supporters want “revenge” too. Doesn’t mean it’s wrong, though. Which makes the whole thing even creepier.

Yeah. But where will the riots be? My guess is in mainly Democrat cities. They can burn Detroit and LA down to the ground as far as I care. They’ll only be hurting themselves.
Luckily, I live in an area where you could get shot just for trying to steal a yard sign, so I don’t think anything will be going down my way. However, my gun will be loaded and ready just in case.

“Revenge” is a very obvious code word and its targeted at Romney being a rich, white guy.

I suspect it’s a vocalization of Obozo’s ‘mystic mirror’ artifice.
His chief snare is getting his audience to ‘fill in the blank’ with their own projections… it’s an incitement to self-deception (or self-disillusion).
This is how he says so little of substance, yet his followers think his least utterances encompass the universe.
He’s setting up a blank mental scenario where the beholders insert their own devils and demons… and imagine their own righteous rage against them.
It’s simple, effective, and very dangerous.
The distance between fear and rage is smaller than you might think.

A complete denial of what Obama said and clearly meant. Smearing Romney with the same sentiment to muddy the waters and make it hard for people to see what’s going on. Obama has the ugliness of revenge in his heart, and worse, he’s cultivating it in himself and encouraging it in others. Hey, I’ve got plenty of faults myself, but if I were a leader in his position I’d be more careful to encourage, to use Lincoln’s phrase, the “better angels of our nature”. That’s part of what a good leader does. That’s something Romney does over and over again.
