Chart: What your booze says about your politics
Romney’s not a drinker, but most beers lean right, while liberals prefer Absolut. Using data from its Trendsetter app, Engage analyzed “likes” from thousands of Facebook users to tie consumer choices to political preference and engagement.

Mmmmm, a frozen Margarita with a shot of Grand Marnier floating on the top. It doesn’t get any better than that.

I didn’t see cider anywhere on there. A couple of ciders and a game of darts. Or a Guinness and a game of pool. Or beer or wine with a meal.

…do I know you? :O

Funny, that.
I had actually talked to AP about writing here again in the Fall now that the youngest is in school…but alas. You know, that whole thing with the Green Room. lol
But I want to write again…just have to take the plunge.

Cheap red wine… mostly red zin and pinot noir… made in my basement.
Glug glug.

Cool petefrt!
The winemaker at the winery I work at and I are producing our own label of wine.
Starting with seven tons of Grenache. Gonna purchase gnarled head vine Zin next.
Hopefully our Grenache rose will be in NYC and Cali stores by summer

I wonder how Homebrew breaks?

It takes a lot of work to brew your own beer, so I’ll guess the people who do that are Romney voters.

Good for you, blatant! Let me know when you reach western PA.

Mmmmm is right! That’s what I always drink in Vegas, where it’s called a Cadillac Margarita.

Three Floyds. Fellow Chicagoan. Though I was the only conservative in this city.
I’m a scotch guy, but Adam Carolla’s creation mangria has made its way into my rotation as well.

I confess, I buy the must, not the grapes. I keep 10 6-gal carboys in the basement, and make more whenever I have an empty carboy.
I started using must last spring. Before that I was buying the Regina grape juice for winemaking by the 6-gal pail every fall. But lugging all that liquid from the store to the basement got tedious, to say the least. Using the must with local spring water is much easier and gives me about the same results. (We have excellent mountain spring water around here.) Plus the must, unlike the juice, is available year-around.

Somehow I don’t think much Obamabrew is going to be consumed on Tuesday night victory celebrations.
meci on November 4, 2012 at 9:16 AM
No worries about buying the must. Gotta do what you gotta do.
I could see if I could get you a hook up on grapes from Long Island next harvest season.
Shoot me an email at ctharrig@gmail.com so I have your contact info.

Smirnoff & Coke. Then Beck’s. Then another Beck’s. Then another Smirnoff & Coke. Then maybe a Blue Hawaiian.

Shine. Heineken Dark. Gin.

Always been a beer and wine guy, but this political season has driven me to mix bourbon with my diet cola…to help me sleep. Tried Irish whiskey, but it’s a bit harsh for me.

I brewed my own mead a couple of years ago, just to see what it tasted like. It was awful! I dont know whether it was because I don’t like mead, because I stink at making it, or all of the above. Oh, well…
