Another poll shows Romney within three in Pennsylvania
A Siena Research Institute Poll on Tuesday showed the Republican nominee trailing Mr. Obama by only three percentage points, 43 percent to 40 percent, in the Keystone State. Other polls prior to the debate had shown Mr. Obama with as much as a 12-point lead.
“Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes suddenly appear to be up for grabs,” said poll director Don Levy. “Romney not only has Republican support but now leads in vote-rich areas outside of Philadelphia and also in the central part of the state. With a month and two more debates to go, Pennsylvania’s direction on the road to the White House remains in doubt.”
The Siena survey found 12 percent of the state’s voters undecided. The poll was conducted from Oct. 1 to Oct. 5; the debate took place on Oct. 3.

Expand the map, Mitt…go for the jugular.

whoa, Romney gets Penn and it’s lights out for Barry. I’m starting to hear the theme from Rocky.

If Pennsylvania turns red, we’ll pass 270 early on Election Night.
aunursa on October 9, 2012 at 3:01 PM
So does Michelle 0bama.
And I’m not talking about Malia or Sacha.
UltimateBob on October 9, 2012 at 3:06 PM
And 43-40 suggests that a whopping 17% are undecided in this poll. Honestly, anyone who’s “undecided” at this point, how many of ‘em do you think will make up their mind to vote for the Empty Chair?

I live in PA, and Obama ads are none stop. Both official campaign ads and super PAC ads.
I can’t even remember the last time I saw a Romney ad, and I probably saw 9 or 10 obama ads watching baseball and football last night.
brandozilla on October 9, 2012 at 3:12 PM
As someone (Charles Krauthammer?) recently said, Romney’s debate performance last Wednesday wiped out $10 million worth of 0bama campaign ads.
0bama has to spend a lot of money to make up for his lameness, even in states he thought he had in the bag.
UltimateBob on October 9, 2012 at 3:21 PM
Red PA = win. Bottom line. I don’t see how Obama wins without it at this point.
Red Cloud on October 9, 2012 at 3:21 PM
All the ads in the world won’t do a bit of good when the candidate looks like an out-and-out moron on the debate stage.
The Count on October 9, 2012 at 3:24 PM
Rick Perry can testify to that.
cozmo on October 9, 2012 at 3:26 PM
Except Obama doesn’t have the excuse of zoning out on pain meds after back surgery like Perry did.
DRayRaven on October 9, 2012 at 3:38 PM
Perhaps we need those 2 in a runner up debate. Winner gets to decide federal drilling permits.

You were for-warned that our Governor can’t debate. But he can shoot!!
CableDude on October 9, 2012 at 3:39 PM
Where in PA? I’m in suburban Philly and I’m seeing nothing, though I didn’t watch MNF or MLB last night. I did see a tremendous ad by the Republican Jewish Committee on ESPN Saturday. It featured several 2008 Obama voters saying why they won’t vote for him this year.
rockmom on October 9, 2012 at 3:40 PM
Oh, and look at the details in that Siena poll. Romney is winning big in southeastern PA outside of Philadelphia. That’s where the entire election may be decided. SE PA went for Obama in 2008.
rockmom on October 9, 2012 at 3:41 PM
Doesn’t matter. Except that Perry was man enough to use it as an excuse. 0bama has used every excuse, and then some.
And Ruger put out a special version of their LCP to capitalize on that. I’m tempted.
Man, I had something funny regarding Perry, 0bama, coyotes and drilling. I prefer to stay off 0bama’s secret service, EPA and IRS list. And leftys would have freaked out.
cozmo on October 9, 2012 at 3:52 PM
I’m pretty sure that was Bill Maher’s excuse for Obama’s performance.
MeatHeadinCA on October 9, 2012 at 3:52 PM
Ooops…
cozmo on October 9, 2012 at 3:53 PM
If Obama’s running so many ads, I wonder if the law of diminishing returns has finally flipped so that Romney gets help when the ads run, because people are getting sick of them.

+1.
SparkPlug on October 9, 2012 at 4:00 PM
You might be right 44.
SparkPlug on October 9, 2012 at 4:00 PM
Haha. LibDonks are running scared. Everyone in the MSM is still talking about the debate and even the Barry campaign is still talking bout the debate. Idiots. But I hope they remain idiots and don’t wise up.
SparkPlug on October 9, 2012 at 4:02 PM
Just got called from Marist College for a poll. I am now a black woman, Indie that voted for Barack Obama in 08 with income between 25-50K that is voting for Romney in 2012. Bwahahaha!!!
1nolibgal on October 9, 2012 at 4:39 PM
I am in the Lehigh Valley. We have a republican congressman (moderate, Charlie Dent) but went for Obama in 08 55-43.
04 we were 50/50 almost exactly between Bush and Kerry in my district. (Kerry took the state approx 51/48.)
