Actress Stacey Dash on Romney: I chose him based on the content of his character
STACEY DASH: I just feel that as a country, this is my choice. This is the man I want to lead my country. It is my right as an American citizen. It’s my Constitutional right to have my choice of who I want to vote for for President. And I chose him not by the color of his skin but the content of his character.
PIERS MORGAN, HOST: Have you heard from Mitt Romney at all?
DASH: Yes, well not Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan.
MORGAN: Paul Ryan rang you today?
DASH: Yes, he did.
MORGAN: What did he say?
DASH: He said, “Thank you so much for your support,” and that I was brave, and they support me, and I thought that was so generous and kind. You know? Lovely. Really

Ba-bow-bow! Ryan gets to the ladies!
John the Libertarian on October 9, 2012 at 11:53 PM
She’s hot.

Content!

We throw around the word brave a lot and sometimes I think it’s overdone. But I think this lady is brave.
hawkdriver on October 9, 2012 at 11:57 PM
Snaps!!!!
ted c on October 9, 2012 at 11:59 PM
I was surprised that Pierce Morgan made a show about this incident, and so promptly too.
AlexB on October 10, 2012 at 12:01 AM
She should get an African-American outreach position in the new Administration, much like Barky did for Kumar with Asian-Americans.
blammm on October 10, 2012 at 12:02 AM
I love how calm she was in that interview, unlike the unhinged Left.
SouthernGent on October 10, 2012 at 12:03 AM
Fine looking lady. Mature, intelligent, and lovely. What isn’t there to love?
wildcat72 on October 10, 2012 at 12:05 AM
I admire her strength so much.
gophergirl on October 10, 2012 at 12:08 AM
Do a Google image search for “Stacey Dash Playboy”. Nice.
Mark1971 on October 10, 2012 at 12:08 AM
She doesn’t like dudes who are hung like a “U”, if I remember clueless properly.
lorien1973 on October 10, 2012 at 12:09 AM
Which is why Democrats hate her.
malclave on October 10, 2012 at 12:10 AM
all class– she handled this infinitely better than I would have
another sterling example of liberal “tolerance”
pathetic.
thurman on October 10, 2012 at 12:12 AM
At the beginning if the show, Morgan had Stephanie Cutter on. Completely unhinged, angry and incoherent. Such a contrast to Dash.
Norwegian on October 10, 2012 at 12:15 AM
If The Won was smart he would call her and apologize for his “supporters”. But I never have thought he was very smart.
Cindy Munford on October 10, 2012 at 12:16 AM
I feel like I haven’t “seen” you in forever. I hope you are well.
Cindy Munford on October 10, 2012 at 12:16 AM
I rejoined twitter just to follow her and to thank her for her courage. What a great person in Hollywood.
the new aesthetic on October 10, 2012 at 12:19 AM
To be fair, Dash’s guy is winning.
GOPRanknFile on October 10, 2012 at 12:21 AM
Dash is not going to be unemployed for much longer. I imagine conservative writers, directors, and producers will want to employ her over a liberal dimwit.
Jurisprudence on October 10, 2012 at 12:25 AM
Not to be a kill-joy but when the typical Hollywood lefty spouts their political views, we tend to ignore it but we fall all over ourselves when a celebrity comes out on the Right.
That said, it is indeed good to see someone stand for what they believe in especially if its unpopular in their circle…..
And….that said, I’d never heard of her before. She has 30K new Twitter followers now and VP candidates calling her up to thank her so….hrmmm….
Texas74 on October 10, 2012 at 12:25 AM
This is what any black person has to go through to vote republican. it from my family every time I go to visit them…not the insults of course, but why a black person would ever vote for the GOP.
It’s a jungle out there folks…
Chudi on October 10, 2012 at 12:28 AM
Thanks Cindy! Yes all is well
Just been busy with work and kids, but plan to spend more time here as the election approaches.

Classic line. Shelby Steele has used this razor line against the know-nothing slaves of the Democrat plantation, but it seems that none of them get the outrage of it, or maybe it is simply too painful to acknowledge that they have turned King’s supposed legacy upside down.
Either way, this lady has stripped them all of their fake moral authority and put whips in their hands. Beautiful and terrible, at once.
Jaibones on October 10, 2012 at 12:33 AM
I wonder if when Paul Ryan called her he said to her “Hey girl, it’s Paul Ryan.”
LOL!
terryannonline on October 10, 2012 at 12:33 AM
+1
I’m black and I have to go through this all the time. It’s like you can’t have a thought for yourself. You have to fall in line with the Democratic party or you are somehow a coon, uncle tom, sambo, and all the other stuff. Very sick people out there.
tdavisjr on October 10, 2012 at 12:34 AM
Sorry you have to go through that. One of my aunts voted Democrat her entire life because that’s what her family had done, while griping about all the policies the Dems were putting in place. Bill Clinton and Monica cured her. Older people tend to take a dim view of those kind of shenanigans.
Cindy Munford on October 10, 2012 at 12:36 AM
Paul Ryan’s telephone conversation with Stacey Dash.
terryannonline on October 10, 2012 at 12:37 AM
She played Alicia Silverstone’s character’s BFF, Dionne, in Clueless.
Two things about this.. 1. Ryan is of real use to the Romney campaign in these sorts of situations. He definitely has a “young” and “with it” edge. 2. Woman popular for part in a teen movie in the mid 1990s is four years older than possible VP… Discuss.
Illinidiva on October 10, 2012 at 12:39 AM
I had forgotten who she was until I remembered Mo Money. She’s quite lovely.
jawkneemusic on October 10, 2012 at 12:41 AM
A black co-worker had to change barbers after he let it be known in the chair that he was a conservative. He had to go find another barber to undo the damage the first one deliberately did to his hair.
unclesmrgol on October 10, 2012 at 12:41 AM
You have to remember that The Won apologized to HIS supporter Ms. Fluke for the flack she got for wanting her $18K contraceptive bill paid for by the government.
So he’s not going to apologize to Ms. Dash — that’s obviously a Romney/Ryan thing to do.
unclesmrgol on October 10, 2012 at 12:45 AM
Bravo, Ms Dash, for a brilliant retort to those calling you a house ######.
andycanuck on October 10, 2012 at 12:45 AM
I know that he won’t and why, I’m just saying to would be good politics if he did. Obama has the be the most over-rated human ever.
Cindy Munford on October 10, 2012 at 12:48 AM
We all know dip$hit O will not be calling this lovely young lady and offering his support of her courage. That notion is LAUGHABLE. Having said that, the silver lining in this election cycle is the courageous people emerging onto the scene for all of us to rally around. You Go Ms. Dash! Jackalope has your back!
Jackalope on October 10, 2012 at 12:52 AM

Coming from you, that means something.

Stacy is known for her role as “Cher” on Clueless.
Let’s contrast her behavior with the other Cher, and the hateful liberal garbage she can’t help but post constantly.
Pretty much sums up the behavior of the “tolerant” left vs us grownups on the right

“If ROMNEY gets elected I don’t know if i can breathe same air as Him & his Right Wing Racist Homophobic Women Hating Tea Bagger Masters.”
thurman on October 10, 2012 at 12:56 AM
She’s welcome to try to find some different air.
Cindy Munford on October 10, 2012 at 1:02 AM
Stacy did a pretty decent job for someone probably never asked to speak about politics on camera before.
‘Brave’? Sadly, it is at least MARGINALLY applicable and that’s what really sad. I wish I had some way of getting word to her to touch base with the ladies tat The Last Civil Right; they’d be a wonderful support group for her.
michaelo on October 10, 2012 at 1:16 AM
Amen!
She understands and is carrying forward the dream of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Some others, however, are doing just the opposite. These riot-threatening thugs want us to ignore the content of Obama’s character and judge him by the color of his skin… and if we don’t vote for the half-black man then they *promise* us that “Niggas Will Riot”.
Was that the message of non-violence and color-blindness that the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. taught?
No, they are thinking and threatening the exact *opposite* of what Dr. King taught.
ITguy on October 10, 2012 at 1:18 AM
I think it an amazing feat of propaganda, that minorities have been brainwashed so deeply to support a party so blindly, a party that works so hard against their interests.
Evil, but amazing.
The question is: how to wake them up?

Nothing exposes the vile hatred and bigotry of the Left like when one of their “own” jumps ship.
Dash is awesome!

Very disturbing, I didn’t look that good at 20.
Cindy Munford on October 10, 2012 at 1:46 AM
was unfamiliar with her before this incident but she is my new hero =) and she’s a dem who voted obama last time, now she’s changing her mind? wow! the left must HATE her =) i hope she takes this opportunity to switch to being a conservative republican. come to our side, we have common sense!
and cookies!!!follow her on twitter and send her a support tweet!!
haha that meme came to my mind too XDDD

nicktjacob on October 10, 2012 at 2:27 AM
she’s gaining followers fast! right now it’s 2:33 AM EST and she has 311,886 followers. check back later to see how much it’s gone up…
Sachiko on October 10, 2012 at 2:33 AM
I think that it should be the case, based a simple realization that you should be able to choose who you will vote for and endorse. Should anybody take umbrage to that, they are clearly the unhinged.
Axeman on October 10, 2012 at 2:45 AM
Obama is the one who is now CLUELESS.
Even Big Bird thinks so.
profitsbeard on October 10, 2012 at 2:47 AM
That’s the liberal definition of the word “racist.”
