President Hugo Chavez has retained power in Venezuela, after defeating opponent Henrique Capriles, by a comfortable victory of one million votes.

“The candidate of the right and his campaign team have just announced that they have recognized our victory,” Chávez told an ecstatic crowd.
I picture the opponent in a chair, handcuffed, with a gun to his head in some small dark room being forced to sign a concession document.

I absolutely believe it could happen here. Doesn’t Hugo own the company that makes some of these voting machines we were scammed into buying here? A fake controversy over hanging chads leads our government to “fix” the problem that isn’t buy making us buy computers that are easier to commit fraud on.
