Poll: Romney gained five points between Tuesday and Thursday, now leads by one
A new poll shows a slight change in the presidential race immediately following Wednesday night’s debate in Denver, with a 4-point lead for President Obama the day before the debate becoming a 1-point deficit the day after his uninspiring peformance.
On Tuesday, the Washington, D.C.-based Clarus Research Group surveyed 590 likely voters and found Obama leading Mitt Romney, 49 percent to 45 percent. On Thursday, Clarus found, in an identical number of interviews, that Romney had inched ahead by 1 point, 47 percent to 46 percent.

I’m glad to see the numbers move like this…swing voters are aptly named.

It just shows the garbage the media has been shuffling to us. If “everyone has already made up their minds” would we have the biggest television audience in 30 years for the debate, with 70+ million watching? And how could polls possibly be swinging significantly on the basis of a single debate if “everybody” knows who they will vote for?
In terms of content, I didn’t think Obama did all that badly in the debate. In terms of demeanor, he came off as an arrogant (I’ll say it) black man. He was truly unappealing.

They don’t publish the sample, but here’s the methodology:
http://clarusrg.com/content/clarus-poll-and-after-polls-shows-obama-lead-slips
METHODOLOGY:
Each poll was conducted via live telephone interviews, landline and cell, based on random digit dialing methodology.
Without more information one has to wonder.

If you read the transcript, you’d think that they came out about even, with both repeatedly denying the assertions that the other presented as facts.

It would be nice to see their usable response rate.
These kinds of polls can be useful to detect changes in preference for the population they can reach, but their unknown bias makes them less predictive of actual outcomes.

AAron Hinmen (FB post above)– asking Kunta Kinte to think seriously about anything is an excessively tall order. Check out his handle: that’s someone still living in a psychological cotton field of their own making. Cannot be reasoned with. Yeah, talkin’ to you, libfree.

LIVING WILL FORM
I, ____________, being of sound mind and body, do not wish to be kept alive indefinitely by artificial means. Under no circumstances should my fate be put in the hands of pinhead partisan politicians who couldn’t pass ninth-grade biology if their lives depended on it, or lawyers/doctors/hospitals interested in simply running up the bills.
If after a reasonable amount of time passes, and I fail to ask for: (Check appropriate items): a Martini ______, a Margarita ______, a Scotch and soda ______, a Bloody Mary______, a beer ______, a Gin and Tonic _______, a Glass of Chardonnay ______, a Steak ______, Lobster or crab legs ______, the TV remote control ______, a bowl of ice cream ______, the sports page______, Sex______, or Chocolate_______, it should be presumed that I won’t ever get any better. When such a determination is reached, I hereby instruct my appointed person and attending physicians to pull the plug, reel in the tubes, and call it a day. At this point, it is time to call the New Orleans Jazz Funeral Band to come and do their thing at my funeral, and ask all of my friends to raise their glasses to toast the good times we have had.

P.S. I hear that in Ireland there is a Nursing Home with a Pub. The patients are happier, and they have a lot more visitors. Some of them don’t even need embalming when their time comes. If anyone knows the name of this happy place, PLEASE pass it on.
Amendment #1:
Should I become incapacitated as described above, DO NOT PULL THE PLUG until after I have voted against Barack Obama by absentee ballot in the November 2012 election.

Regardless, Romney is going to win almost all of the swing states and a couple blue states as well.

Great news, but we will have to see in the coming days how the fake employment data effect the polls.

We haven’t heard from Romney’s garbageman lately. Now that he knows that Romney has spent a day working as a garbageman and echoed his remarks of being invisible and that Obama has not, maybe he is ready to change his vote, too.

If you were gone before November, you will be amazed that you have also voted for Barry in his deceased voters bloc.
